High schools don't teach meteorology.
What makes you think they're from a class? Could be a club. I was in a "Weather Explorer's" club in high school.

Their shirts are what's leading me to believe that.  ;)

Your Local Weather / Re: Baltimore Weather

More unstable weather today and tomorrow. Flooding is a great concern, as water levels are already at flood stage from the rain we had on Tuesday. As a result we are currently under a Flood Watch:

Quote
/O.CON.KLWX.FA.A.0002.000000T0000Z- 080308T0500Z/ /00000.0.ER.000000T0000Z. 000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA-NORTHERN BALTIMORE-HARFORD- MONTGOMERY-HOWARD- SOUTHERN BALTIMORE- PRINCE GEORGES-ANNE ARUNDEL- PRINCE WILLIAM/MANASSAS/MANASSAS PARK- FAIRFAX- ARLINGTON/FALLS CHURCH/ALEXANDRIA- INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...WASHINGTON... GAITHERSBURG...COLUMBIA... BALTIMORE... ANNAPOLIS...MANASSAS...MANASSAS PARK... FAIRFAX... ALEXANDRIA...FALLS CHURCH 335 PM EST FRI MAR 7 2008

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT...

THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF MARYLAND...THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA... INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN MARYLAND...ANNE ARUNDEL...HARFORD... HOWARD...MONTGOMERY...NORTHERN BALTIMORE... PRINCE GEORGES AND SOUTHERN BALTIMORE. THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA... ARLINGTON/FALLS CHURCH/ALEXANDRIA... FAIRFAX AND PRINCE WILLIAM/MANASSAS/MANASSAS PARK.

* UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT

* PERIODS OF RAIN WILL OCCUR THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ALONG THE BALTIMORE WASHINGTON CORRIDOR. THE HEAVIEST RAIN IS FORECAST TO FALL DURING THE EVENING RUSH HOUR. ONE TO ONE AND A HALF INCH AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH MIDNIGHT...WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO TWO INCHES.

* CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND URBAN AREAS MAY FLOOD DUE TO HEAVY RAIN.

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON CURRENT FORECASTS.

DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.

Here is the forecast:

Currently:

Temp: 48

Barometer: 29.78 and steady

Today: Rain likely. Low 44F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph. Rainfall around a half an inch.

Tomorrow: Windy at times with showers and thundershowers likely. High near 60F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph, becoming S and increasing to 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

Not necessarily. Looks like a high school to me.
At least not when I went to high school they didn't.
Of course, that was before meterology even existed. :D

Gee, it was only a few years ago.  :P

I don't follow...

What applications do you plan to run?

Last I checked Microsoft had mastered the art of issuing new OS's that are worse than their predecessors. In fact, it ought to be an MS trademark.
