 I feel bad.

Yesterday, a friend asked someone to ask me if I would want to go to (late) Valentine's Day dance.

I declined, and I said "maybe next time." I meant it.

So awkwardness ensued between us, and I snapped at my friends all day.

Just after the final bell rang, someone asked her if she was going to the dance.

"I couldn't find anybody that would say yes."

  What should I do?!

What should you do about what? What part of this is troubling you? Telling her no? Hearing that she had no other date? Do you like this girl?

I think you have to tell her whatever your feeling. If you feel bad about telling her no, tell her so. If you feel bad that she had no other date, tell her you didn't know and how bad you feel about it. Is there another dance this school year? If so, make it a point to ask HER to the dance. That is, if you want to go. If you just don;t like dances, tell her so. Tell her whatever's in your heart. She'll like that.

Better than sweating in your school clothes, IMO.

Obviously.  :D

The problem, in my opinion, is not so much the SUV but rather the SUV driver. People think they're invincible in an SUV, and so they drive like it. They usually find out the hard way that SUV's aren't invincible.Usually by way of a rollover or some other horrible accident.

I am only required to participate in PE in middle school and 9th grade. To graduate, I must take two semesters of "Individual PE", whether it is lifting weights, aquatics, golf, or tennis.

Me too. In 10th grade, I'm outta there.

OMG I am so glad I get to rest over the weekend. :D

My teacher understands where I come from in my feelings on PE, so he gives me some slack normally, as long as I participate. So I can't just sit out.  <_<

Most gym teachers don't, so consider yourself fortunate.

In my opinion, schools should require MORE phys ed. With the rate of obesity in our country, its sorely needed.

I personally loved PE. Especially high school PE. I surprised the teacher quite often with my athleticism. My classmates too.  :D
I agree.

I don't mind P.E. anymore as much as I used to. Sucks that we have to wear PE uniforms though. :hmm:

Yeah I never cared for the uniforms either.

I think he either would have been laid off or been asked to retire early. Probably the latter, since the time wouldn't have been far off anyway.
Sounds about right to me. Shame TWC showed him such dignity but didn't bother to even mention any of the OCMs they got rid off. They were just erased from TWC. :(

You have to remember that it IS a bit of a personal matter. Perhaps the laid off OCM's themselves requested that it not be made public. I know if I've lost my job I wouldn't want the world to know. They'd get the idea by my absence.

Anyone else having trouble with Wikipedia?

I used it about 15 minutes ago and it was fine.

I thought you guys told me Roland was banned from TWCC?

Apparently not the case anymore.

And you guys are actually going to put up with that?

Oh wait, evidently not. If it weren't for Lightning TWCC would be dead as a doornail.
