OVERTIME!  :thrilled:

LOL.

But perhaps not. The OCM's could be paid a salary, and not a wage, meaning that they'd not be eligible for overtime, regardless of how many hours they work.

Given all the layoffs, I'd imagine that 12-hour+ days are probably more common than you realize.

What is "Twiceler"? I'm seeing this bot/user in the online list currently.

Its a search engine bot. I've seen several unfamiliar ones over the past few days.

You just have to keep trying drivers until you find one that works. Try looking on driverguide.com. They have TONS of drivers there. If you can't find your driver there, you can't find it anywhere.

you have all seen the last of climate code/ forecast earth forever

FE will be back.

Are you saying this officially?

Of course not.  :whistling:

Okay, Gary,

I know better. I too have a source. Your no longer above me.

That's wonderful. I never said I was above you, though you act like you're above me.

As far as your source goes - he or she must know nothing about the TV business, then.

I don't know. But I DO know that he works for TWC< and has many insider connections there including the OCM's themselves, and management, as far up the ladder as Deborah Wilson.

Your walking a very fine line Tyler. That perennial chip on our shoulder is starting to bloom again. Your VERY close to being banned AND blocked permanently from this site and forum. I'm trying to leave you out of the issues with TWCC, but your making it increasingly difficult.

You guys crack me up.

Look, from my discussions with my contact, I feel pretty sure that we've seen all the layoffs we're likely to see. Another round is highly unlikely.
I sure hope you are right, Gary.  These layoffs have been depressing news for far too long.

I don't see how they COULD eliminate anyone else, unless they intend to bring some of the folks from NBC aboard. Otherwise, they'd be impossibly shorthanded.

So YWT is still having three hosts (Nicole, Kevin/Bill, and Jim)?
Do we know that Jim is going to YWT? AFAIK, we only heard he was moving to mornings. That could mean First Outlook, YWT, or Day Planner, or even on one of the weekend morning shows.

We have no idea what show Jim is moving too. As usual, once word got out assumptions started flying.

If they lay off anyone else it would most likely be ocms like Mike Sidel, Sharon Resultan, Vivian Brown, Nick Walker, and if they are incredibly stupid Jim Cantore, Paul Goodloe, Kim Perez, and Jeff Morrow, Bill Keneely, and Heather Tesch. Out of all of them I'm concerned for Heather. :(

I feel pretty confident that none of those are going anywhere.

I'm not too pleased about it either, but at this point I'm not inclined to start trouble over it.

Who here wants a TWC title mockup? (note: NO animations. I'm not that good!)
Me!

I don't want Comcast anymore.
Why not? and don't say because it doesn't have TWC HD because that's not a good enough reason.

Its a good enough reason if its good enough for him.

I don't expect FE to return. If it does, I'll be very surprised. Have you ever seen any other TV show return after being yanked?
