I don't agree with cursing on the air. IMO live TV is no place to talk like a drunk.

I think screwed up is a little harsh.

I mean, what could be funnier than a guy who lives to make a fool of himself?
Isn't that why we laugh at you?  :rofl2:

I don't know, but it IS why I laugh at you.  :rofl2:

Note: Both were originally on Daydreamer.

But, of course, this wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't long-form programming.......

I like the way you think!  :twothumbs:  :P

.....No, I still haven't slept since earlier. I should probably go do that.

Yeah, let's do that.  :P :rofl2:

Everything Else TWC / Re: The Weather Channel | HD Discussion

Interesting. One of the ads for the new TWC|HD features the couple walking on the beach at sunset that has been prevalent in TWC openers and promos ever since the 2001 series of Weather Center openers. I guess they have that footage stored in HD?

Not necessarily. It could've been upconverted to HD.

Here's the result of my more scathing letter to Chris Hoitsma:

Quote
Thank you for contacting The Weather Channel Interactive.

I will forward your email message, expressing your frustrations with the lack
of severe weather coverage due to the airing of our long-form programming to
our producers and programming directors. When there are widespread outbreaks
of inclement or severe weather, our producers are given the option of
pre-empting any scheduled programming features or going live to Dr. Forbes in
our storm center. Hopefully, they will choose the later option more often in
the future!

We are always happy to hear from our viewers and hope you will continue to
watch The Weather Channel for many years to come.

Sincerely,

Chris Hoitsma
Solutions Center/TWC
That whole "later" (sic, it's "latter", Chris) option thing doesn't make any sense in the context of what I complained about. The former would actually be the desired option.

Like most of TWC's correspondance, it sounds totally manufactured. TWC really seems to excel in the art of pacifism.

For those who don't understand the comedy of Kramer (Matt, Tyler): what isn't funny about a guy whose pretty much a total goofball?  I mean, what could be funnier than a guy who lives to make a fool of himself?

I don't get it. What's so signifcant about it? People say the F-word all the time.
Not on live TV.

Got any dollar stores? Dollar stores most always sell 'em.

I don't care about your post Tyler. Though I must admit I don't understand what interest you think it would be to anyone here.

Eww, hope it's not permanent. I really don't like Sam... though I'm not a huge fan of Kelly, either.  :hmm:

I'm not a Sam fan either. I'd much rather see Kelly.
