I know. But, they're very much back in it now.  :twothumbs:

2-1 in favor of Detroit now right? Pittsburgh still has a mighty task at hand-winning three games before Detroit wins two.

I'm severely allergic to cats.

because I'm moving into an apartment that doesn't allow pets.
So why are they allowing you to live there? :P

Because I have money.  :P

Ya know, I've noticed that Alex has done very few segments up at the wall lately. Could this be the reason why?

Edit: She's up at the wall right now. I just hope none of her long, dangly necklaces hurt the baby. :P

LOL, they might asphyxiate him/her.  :P

Like I said, there's a difference but its not substantial.

None at current. Had a dog (a cockapoo-cocker spaniel/poodle mix), but gave him away last month because I'm moving into an apartment that doesn't allow pets. Before that I had another dog (doberman), but she became incontinent (she was getting old) and we had to get rid of her.

Gil, I suggest you knock it off. I'll close this thread if your going to start ruckus. And I don't think kpetree would be too happy about having his thread locked on account of you.

Hehe. Right. Gil knows all.

Anyway, this has nothing to do with this thread, so let's get it back on topic.

At my district's high school, they let you listen to iPods whenever you want, as well as wear hats, chew gum, etc.

That certainly is a terrible way to do things.
How do you figure? The way I see it is that it builds responsibility. Sounds rediculous, but here's how: If the kids can do all of these things, it is a tremendous distraction. But most of the students don't care, so when they flunk, and end up doing nothing with their lives, it's really their fault. Hence, it's to their best interest to use them responsibly.

I hate people. :)

Allowing the kids to do as they please doesn't foster responsibility.
