Some idiot commented one of my youtube videos and said "What does HD mean?"

He's 100% an Idiot

The TWC fan base seems to be full of morons.

Well, any other theories Mike?

What other member is this not working for? I refuse to report a bug I'm not even sure exists.

I voted for Evening Edition also.

10.0 is indeed pretty buggy. People considered that version as a "beta version" even though it really wasn't. I wouldn't pay $105 for an old OS filled with bugs.

Maybe it's a collectible?  :dunno:
It is a collectible of some sorts. OS X 10.0 is reasonably difficult to come across these days. Gary, you got a great deal on them.

I had a feeling the old geezer selling them didn't know what he had. Honestly I was expecting them to sell for $50 or $60 bucks, but not $100.

Yes Gil, that's what it sells for on Amazon.

Thank god you two aren't the only people on the earth.

Six copies of Mac OS X, for $2 each (cha-ching!!).  :twothumbs:
Holy hell, how??? What versions?
Version 10.0.3.

That's probably the most unstable Mac OS since 7 :rofl2: :P :twothumbs:

Doesn't matter to me. I'm not using it. If people want to pay $105 for it, I'll sell 'em all day long!  :twothumbs:

I never see an ounce of spam in my gmail box. It all goes directly to the spam folder, without my ever seeing it or knowing about it.

Flea market, my friend, flea market.

Version 10.0.3. An older version, but still quite pricey, from what I've seen.

EDIT: And I should also mention that these are all genuine copies, not bootlegs.

There's some things I want to say, but I really don't want to get banned.

Say 'em! I won't ban ya!  :twothumbs:

Programming and Graphics / Re: ATTN: Severe Weather
« on: June 08, 2008, 03:57:39 PM »
I think they need to cover any severe weather that is occurring, anywhere in the country. If its severe (see potentially dangerous, see potentially life threatening), then it needs to be covered in favor of whatever garbage they'd likely be showing instead.

Local Forecast / Re: Local weather id
« on: June 08, 2008, 03:55:59 PM »
The Local Weather ID is used to identify the WeatherSTAR (gives you the local forecast) at your Cable Company. You can't look it up, it won't give you weather info or anything (my first impression when they deployed it back in 2004 or so).

The only thing it's useful for is reporting errors.

Which is moot, because we don't do that here (at least yet, anyway-maybe we will if TWC ever gets smart).

Still, I've heard all his songs and its impossible to confuse him with Eric Marienthal. Maybe it's because I've been listening to him since the late 80's/early 90's, when his music first aired on TWC.

Interesting story: For the last five years or so we've had a smooth jazz station here in Baltimore (104.3 WSMJ, for those in the listening area). Today I went to listen to it and instead of jazz I hear....rock! Apparently 104.3 has changed genres...for like the billionth time in the last 30 years.
