Why do you presume that this is her last day? I've seen nothing to indicate when her last day may be.  :dunno:

BTW, anyone notice the geniuses that dodged the gates and flashing lights at the beginning of the video?
I did.

What a bunch of idiots.
You're signature image is obnoxiously large.

It's no larger than Jesse's, Al's, or anyone else's.

Please stop with the OT posts. Thank you.  B)

Wow, I'd definitely say so. That's definitely prime conditions for fire.

Here's yet another example of how stupid Matt is. He broke his own stupid rule. He posted a rule the other day stating that no one is allowed to mention TWCT at his forum, and he went and did that very thing today. I mean, really, how can you be so stupid?

My advice-stay far far away from there. He obviously hasn't got a clue.

Well, that's your opinion. =D
Actually, its fact. Look back. The thread died in September, and at the time no one wanted to tweet. It came back to life in February, and everyone wanted to tweet because of TWC.

I'm very happy to be the start of this Twitter obsession of some of the TWCT users. Me? Obsesed Much! And since I got my env2 it will be easier for me to tweet on the go.

Honestly, I think TWC, and A&B specifically, had more to do with it than you did.

OCMs & Personalities / Re: Weather Center With Abrams and Bettes!

Does this replace Abrams and Bettes? If seen the promos for Weather Center but I am not 100% sure that it's instead of A&B:BTF

Yes, it does. BTF no longer exists.

Local Forecast / Re: Weatherstar 4000 Locations that remain
« on: March 04, 2009, 02:54:02 PM »
Damn, another one bites the dust.  :pinch:
Yeah, it's sad :(
Although most WS 4000's that are being upgraded are being upgraded to the XL, the Intellistar is far cheaper and has more features. Most 4000's and XLs that remain exist in areas that there would be no point to have Intellistar. These include rural, sparsely populated, or mountainous areas. If the specific cable provider/headend decides that it is necessary to change to the Intellistar because the area is populated enough and coverage area warrants it, then they will do so. But if the area is sparsely populated and/or large, then the headend will likely either stay with 4000 or upgrade to XL if they have the money.

Yeah, I know how it works.

Hmmmmm, interesting take on Sam.  OK, thanks for the answer.  I personally like her, but that's what makes the world go around, different impressions and such.

Seems like a good site to this Newbie.  Have been a TWC fan since it's inception.

If I might ask.........why not?  What is it about her that you don't like?

Regards

What's wrong with Sam?  I like her..very articulate...........and pleasant.

I agree about Sam Mohr. Frankly, I think the best place for her is outside the front door.

I don't see her as articulate or pleasant.

Its hard to explain. Simply put, when I watch her, I simply don't feel that way about her.

I'm glad that you like the site. I work very hard every day to make it the best it can be.  B)

As for our differing opinions, well that's what this forum is all about! It'd be a pretty boring place if we all had the same opinion of everything all the time.

I'm getting very restless, it's March, bring on the spring thunderstorms! Just nothing too bad or that will cause major damage/loss of life.

I'm with you!

OCMs & Personalities / Re: The "Where is Everyone Going" Thread
« on: March 04, 2009, 01:00:32 PM »
Bill is the last remaining original OCM.  Good as he is, (and he is) recent history doesn't look good for him.  TWC is doing their best to get rid of all the great "old" talent.

Correction, the only remaining original that we actually see on air. Stu Ostro is still there. He's a senior meteorologist now, and very seldom appears on air.
