I have to say, its been a LONG time since I've seen oil prices drop this way. Usually its just small drops, but right now it seems as though the bottom dropped out and prices are simply free falling.

Chris, shut up.

Rap it up and throw it away. That's what I say about rap.
Oh no.  You can't have crap without rap.

You make a good point.

I could've sworn that I've seen videos on Youtube with Bill out during Isabel from Dj0287.
I'll have to check them out.

They're here on the site too. Guess you guess don't check here to often.... :ermm:

Maybe a look through videos here and on YouTube will refresh your memory? I have video of just about every tropical system of the last decade, and Bill is nearly all of them.

I can see where your coming from, but I can't imagine why TWC would've permanently shelved Bill. He's awfully good at covering the tropics. It would be a very stupid move on TWC's part to never again use him in covering the tropics.

Then you've seen Bill in the field before. He was here during Isabel in 03, and I quite vividly remember him in Katrina in 05. And thats just what I remember off the top of my head-I'm certain there's more.

I didn't really watch Isabel coverage that much. And Bill was in the studio for Katrina coverage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWCS9-BNToA&fmt=18).

I thought you discovered it in 1995? That's what you said somewhere else.

But, as Gary said, Bill reported during hurricanes countless times since 2000.

I don't recall saying that.

He spent some time in the field during Katrina too. I vividly remember it.

Ok, I know its probably not right, but that's going to have to be tough in this case, since Torsten's music is TERRIBLY hard to find-if its possible at all.

Anyway, I was doing a search today for his Mastertouch album (which feature all of his TWC used tunes), and came across this:

http://omehenk.blogspot.com/2008/01/torsten-de-winkel-mastertouch-1989.html

In the comments, the writer posted a link to download the full album. I've tested and can verify it works. All of the mirrors on the download page ARE functional. Again, I'm only doing this because of the extreme difficulty in finding his music.

And how long have you been watching TWC?
About 2000-ish, although I didn't really start watching very often until about 2003 or 2004.

So as a guy whose been there and done that more times than you can count on your hands and feet, how is it surprising to see him out in the field?
It is surprising for those of us who've never seen him out in the field (like me).

And how long have you been watching TWC?
