General Discussion / Re: The Pot Belly Stove

You might say "Well Gary, you have over 7,000 posts!". True enough. But I'm the admin. Its my job to post as much as possible, so as to keep things lively.
I wouldn't say that. I am aware that you have a high post count. You're in charge of the forum after all. I'm sorry if my posting is beyond imagination. I just like to be active and part of the TWC fan community.

And I totally love that you want to be involved! Just remember that its not a competition, and that we'd rather see fewer, better posts rather than more, unnecessary ones.

I would have to agree with Tyler. Its ok to come here and post each day, and have some fun, etc., but you seem to think its a competition. If competitive posting were ever to become an Olympic Game you'd be our representative in the competition!

There's no need to do that. Post ocunt is nothing but a number. Ever heard the phrase "Quality before quantity" ? It certainly applies to posting on message boards. Its not about how much you post as much as it is about how worthwhile, informative, and useful your posts are. Of those 12,500 posts you have I'd be willing to bet that at least 10,000 belong to the game room. Posting in there is fine, but I think that's going a little overboard. You might say "Well Gary, you have over 7,000 posts!". True enough. But I'm the admin. Its my job to post as much as possible, so as to keep things lively.

Anyone know if that song was used on TWC?

Also, I have another song that needs ID'ing. I appreciate your help once again. This is another song sitting in my TWC Music folder that I don't know where it came from or what it is, or if it was used on TWC.

You guys are absolutely correct, I complain and rant FAR TOO MUCH FOR YOU GUYS TO HANDLE. It needs to end because I can't live life like that for the years to come. I'll remember that. Plus you guys would love it if I were to never visit here and twcclassics again right?

No one here ever likes me anyways. At least I try to respect everyone here.  <_<

I can't speak for Tyler, but I wouldn't like it at all if you were to never visit us here. Its not you I don't like. Its your attitude and complaining.

I used to love LOTHT!  :cool3:

Sure it does.  Not 100%, but the result is noticable.

You seem to complain about EVERTHING.  Is there anything that suits you?
RANT OF THE DAY!!

I am starting a "rant of the day" series!!

you never answered my question.  Is there anything that suits you these days.
Nope I complain too much here. i hate the way the world is turning these days. I loved the 90s!
You were too young at the time to truly experience and appreciate the era.

Ok, I have another song I need you all to ID, if you can. Like the last song I needed ID'd (as you recall it turned out to be a Paul Hardcastle song) this one has been in my TWC Music folder, and I don't know what it is or why its there. Al I know about it is that the title I gave it is Step.

I'd appreciate your help very much!

Let's not give anyone else any weird ideas. You know, like using music from the game "Doom" in a LF.

Er...

At least its instrumental!  :P

I just saw a commercial on TV that should make those of you like me who are fans old the old Nickelodeon very happy! Surely you guys remember the show Nickelodeon Guts? Well, their bringing it back! Its called My Family Has Guts! Apparently their doing with Guts what they did years ago with Double Dare, which is making a family version of it. For the first time since the 90's I'm actually eager to see something new coming to Nick!

Especially when your talking about schools. Local government has much more influence over schools than the feds.
However, the State Governments have more to do with it, based on testing scores of the districts, etc. And, to provide adequate testing, or research for testing, the Federal Government comes in with the cash there. So, in a way, it all leads back to the Feds.

I don't see how it all comes back to the feds. When it comes to the day to day operation of schools, your far better off going to local or state government.
