Yeah I just saw that on the news. Very scary indeed. What happened is, at the time the truck was crossing the eastbound span, the westbound span was shut down for maintenance, meaning that the eastbound span was carrying two-way traffic. I've always felt that it was very dangerous to allow two way traffic, and it seems that may have played a role in this accident.

Yeah, I don't think having two-way on one span of the bridge is safe. On our way down to the beach last Friday, the westbound span was carrying two way traffic, and we purposely didn't get in the lane that funneled off to the other span just because it's not really safe having two-way traffic on one span.

IMO, there really needs to be another Bay crossing somewhere just to alleviate traffic on the Bay Bridge.

The last time my family and I went to OC (2003) I drove, for the first time. As it turned out, the eastbound span that day was doing two way traffic. Let me tell ya, it was rather scary to drive over the bridge for the very first time, in the face of oncoming traffic no less.

I agree that there needs to be another bay crossing.

Seriously, we don't do that here. If you don't want to be here, that's fine, but I don't play with closing people's accounts. Why? Because 9 times out of 10 they'll want to return a week later. Aside from that, I just don't believe in doing it.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I will be adding some more new (not so new?) videos to the site today. I say not so new because some of them have been seen on YouTube.

Be that as it may, their still going on this site. The goal of this site is to be your all in one TWC resource, and part of doing that is offering the most complete, comprehensive collection of videos available anywhere on the net.

Also, I will be creating a page for this most recent Trammell-a-palooza, so if you have video from the past 3 (4?5?) days, please post it here!

I noticed this. They seem to cut from the end of one track to roughly 10-15 seconds into the next. I was caught quite by surprise by this the other day when the outage began. I was expecting one song to fade out and the next to fade in, not for it to cut from one to another.

You sent me a few PMs before that you were discouraged with my posting and activity in TWCC.

Nope, I sent you PM's with the same message that I am giving you today-that I'm perplexed as to why it seems that you give it more effort over there. For example, I don't think I've EVER seen you go so far as to create threads here, and I've seen quite a number of them that you created over at TWCC. You claim your posting habits there are the same as they are here, but that's just not true. When you do post here, 90% of your posts are either in the game room , or are posts of complaint about something. It's not that I don't want you to post at TWCC, its that I DO want you to post here, and be as enthusiastic about it.

I'll tell you why but can you PM me? I don't think it's anyone else's business here except the two of us about this situation.

That's probably the best way.

Let's try the TWCC comment again, since you didn't understand it the first time. If someone over there is bothering you, wouldn't that be a reason to STAY AWAY? Not because its wrong to post there, but who wants to be miserable because of someone whose bothering them?

Yes, he sometimes sends me annoying PMs about WPVI and why he's restricted from posting that's why I didn't like it. The reason I go to TWCClassics is so I can post in the Game Room there . Most of my posts in TWCClassics are in the game room.

I'm going to end with this comment: It doesn't make sense to me to put up with his barrage of PM's just to post in the game room.

What's wrong if I post in TWCClassics? I am trying to be active equally in both forums. I cannot post too much here and too less there. I'm trying to balance out.  And yes I do post here besides the game room. I post quite heavily in the local forecast forums.

Eh, I don't know about quite heavily. That's an awful strong term.

Vic, I really gotta know, did someone here do something to piss you off? I ask because it seems that (especially lately) your far more active at TWCC than you are here in ALL sections of the board (that I can see), and you were lips on ass with Tyler last night. Or, if no one did anything to piss you off here, did someone over there do something to make you particularly happy? I'm just trying to understand why you act and post differently here and there. 

It's because Roland is driving me nuts. I called him an idiot in twcclassics. I post here much more than in twcc though.

Roland hasn't been a bother here for the last week because he was banned and was JUST reinstated at week's end. and since he was reinstated he's posted very little. I doubt he'll be a bother here anymore.

As for participating here more than at TWCC, I don't buy it. Yes, you post alot here, but primarily in the game room. At least at TWCC you give it some effort, and actually post some in other places on the forum, and even CREATE threads!

Further, if Roland is a bother at TWCC, wouldn't that be a reason to stay away form there? You know I don't allow that here. Instead, it seems like your spending alot of time trying to make Tyler happy. At least judging by your sappy comments to him last night.
