Well I got some bad news at 4:00 this evening....my grandmother is dead. We knew it was going to happen sometime this week, so its no real shock to anyone. She's finally out of her pain though, so we're glad of that.

Yeah so did I. In fact, I posted about it in the General TWC Discussion thread.  :twothumbs:

I guess this is another result of the buyout.

I haven't gotten the 9/08 playlist yet. I'm not too concerned since TWC is usually slow to reply but does anyone else here have the playlist?

I doubt it. Or at least I'd hope that if someone did they would have posted it.

For those of you looking for Chris Geith's unavailable "Green Shadow", he has it on his myspace here:   http://www.myspace.com/thegroovedetective

Interesting, I emailed him the week before if he can put the song in his myspace music player. Is it in his myspace player or Snocap store?

A) Who cares

B) Why don't you just check for yourself? And don't give me that horse hockey about not being allowed to visit MySpace.

I just saw something on WxScan that I haven't seen in forever-an advertisement for Notify. It's been so long since I've seen an advertisement for Notify (of any type) that I didn't know it still even existed!

Sry to take so long to get back to you guys. I called. Wasted no time giving my star id and explaining the problem. He said its probably a hardware issue and then asked what company I work for. I said I didn't and he was like "?" He actually said I sounded professional and thought I worked for a company cause I wasted no time giving my id and giving the problem...unlike normal viewers who apparently "take forever to get to the point". So yeah they said they will call the headend provide them with the info and gave me a case id: 037011 for anyone who cares. So as long as you don't piss around the issue and get to the point you can pretty much just press 1 for headends.

Yes indeed, getting to the point quickly and assertively is always beneficial.  :twothumbs:

I've tried calling but no one ever picks up. Should I press 1 which is for headends?

Sure! What's the worst that could happen? You get told you have the wrong department? That's nothing to sweat.

The rich amaze me.
No offense, but it's getting kind of annoying when you complain that people have more money than you. It's pretty unnecessary.

And yes, it is possible to save money, practically at any age. B)

I'm not complaining about people who have more money than me.  :twothumbs:

BTW, you can get lost if you don't like what me, or anyone else here has to say.

Hmm...he told, what maybe 10 people (the total membership of his board)? He could of told us here and at TWCC too.

BTW, Roland, DON'T EVEN THINK of making a sig here like the one you have on Mike's board.  :hammer:

Then perhaps he's vacationing? This IS a popular vacation week, as it leads up to Labor Day.
