How long will the storm alert music on the lf last for?I would expect it to last until Gustav looses hurricane status.
If my mind serves me right, last night on Ernesto it was for 2 days.
One side is stronger than the other? I always thought the strength of a Hurricane was always evenly distributed.
Just goes to show how much I know about Tropical Weather.

No, but its far more important than your weather, which you can get from WxScan, or any of a million other avenues.
Granted, it's an important/dangerous situation, but it hardly constitutes skipping the LF for EVERYONE in the country. Like I said, they could use their dual-feed.Besides, what's 12 minutes out of an hour's worth of programming?

What's funny, an hour or 2 ago, Mike Bettes was reporting, and said the maximum wind gust that he recorded was 40 MPH.

Well TWC could've ran 1 minute lfs at :08 and :18. They've done it before even with Katrina.
