But an ad crawl complements twc's during national programming! it'll spike up ratings!

Uhhh...no.

I second that sentiment.

Hurray! Storm Alert!

I am glad weather.com is using their Storm Alert banner too.

Why isn't TWC Today is Storm Alert yet?  :whistling:

Too far away yet. I'll probably put it into storm Alert tomorrow.

how come?

Well gee, it just seems to me it ought to cost more for college than high school. Private school isn't good enough to pay more for it than I'd pay for a college education.

Still regular LF music. :(
I never liked having storm alert music on the LF. IMO, that's going too far, and you're hearing nothing but two songs on the LF for a day or longer. I'd rather hear regular music.
IMO, it just isn't Storm Alert without the local forecast music; it adds a certain amount of drama and importance to the storm coverage.

Agreed. And we ARE talking about a catastrophic storm here, so I think it would be justified.

Well then why did I never saw it in the bottom of the forum in previous versions?
It was never in the bottom of the forum before, but it was still a feature.
Would it also be available at my SMF Forum?

Its available on ANY SMF forum.  ;)

They dont have anything cheaper? I can't afford it. My tuiton costs 6,000 dollars. I went to work at WAWA during the summers from 4-10am to pay off costs.
:o

My college tuition for one year isn't even half that...just over if you figure in books and communication costs.

You know, its pretty bad when you can get a COLLEGE education for less than a high school education.

The reason the theme change was because it was actually part of the SMF 2.0 Beta 4 upgrade. I upgraded my test forum to that today, and I had the same changes. Googling this confirmed that.

There are minor issues here and there, but they'll certainly all be fixed by the time the final release is released. :)

I'm glad to hear that it was SUPPOSED to change. I thought for sure something was screwed up!

Where were you when the attacks occured? Tell your story!

I was just arriving at my 3rd Period class, Marketing. When I went in the classroom, the teacher, Mr. Sarcone, had the classroom television tuned to CBS. He said he was not going to teach that day, that we were to watch the TV instead. I saw smoke pouring from tower A, and thought at first that it was just on fire. But then Mr. Sarcone told us that the tower had been hit by an aircraft. It still hadn't occured to me that it was a terrorist attack. We watched and listened until the bell rang, and we went to our next classes. I was heading just a couple of doors down to World History. Before I even got to the classroom I heard someone shout that another airplane had hit the other tower. At that the hallways burst into panic. People were asking if a plane was going to hit something in our area, and was school going to get out early? Teachers tried to teach their 4th period classes, but by now it was getting very difficult. No one's attention was on learning, but rather on what was going on around us. After 4th period was lunch. In the cafeteria someone announced that a THIRD plane had struck the Pentagon. More panic. At this point the intercom was coming on every 5 seconds to announce the name of someone who needed to come to the office to be picked up by their parents. By the time lunch ended and 5th period began almost a hundred students were already gone, and more were leaving each minute. Then, about 15 minutes into the period the fire alarm went off. Panic? no. Sheer chaos. People were running down the hallways to get out of the building, while at the same time the AP was on the intercom shouting for everyone to get back in their classroom. About 15 minutes later after the chaos subsided some, the AP came back on the intercom and announced that school was closing as soon as the buses arrived. In about 15 minutes we were on our way home to watch with our families these terrible acts.
