General Discussion / Re: The Front Porch

Sorry you feel that way Ana. Leaving the thread won't do any good though.

Vic, it usually helps if you like a style of music other than jazz. If you don't, just make it up. Say you like rock or rap.

Wow, I had no idea Storm Stories was produced by Peacock now.

Yeah me neither. I thought it was still produced by Towers.  :D

Zach, Evan...shut up or be banned. I'm tired of being nice. You guys have no clue what your talking about, so instead of making foools of yourselves, keep your mouths shut.

As least we are in agreement with something. Well, halfway, since it is double-standardised.

There's no double standard here. The rule is the rule. They're public figures.

I've had several warnings today and only heard the usual 3 and 3.

Vic, those songs can't be downloaded in any way because they no longer exist on the server.

Because you voted for it...it wins! :rofl2:   :P

I hope your not the least bit serious. You can clearly see that I'm one of many voters for it.

Questions, Comments, Suggestions / Re: About width...
« on: March 29, 2009, 12:16:11 AM »
The width of the design depends on the width of the menu system. Right now, Gary had asked that I make it as interoperable with as many users and clients as possible, I chose 708px. It uses fixed widths, not based on percentages. Using percentages would break many of the key parts that make the site run the way it does. I honestly have no plans to change the width any time soon as I am happy with the design the way it is :)

It's way too thin for me. I'll just use greasemonkey.

Your just one of many users.

Things seem to be working now. As I told Jesse earlier, I believe the server was suffering problems, and that's out of my hands. Hopefully everything stays up now.

Alright, I'm getting ticked off. I dont want to see another word about Lamarr, Rico, or any of the crap that's gone on in here over the last three days. I am honestly appalled by the level of maturity being shown by some of you. Grow up, move on. What's done is done. No use in beating a dead horse.

Ana, I'm happy you decided to make this into a seperate thread, but you didn't need to...at least not at Jessie's request. He doesn't make the rules here (although he seems to like to think he does).

Jesse, I appreciate your concern, but please let me decide these things. The Front Porch IS for discussing ANYTHING after all, so I don't see the harm in Ana discussing this there.  B)

They say this system could produce some thunderstorms here over the weekend. I'll be eagerly waiting to see what develops.  :D
