So, tonight I played $10 on the Mega Millions drawing. For those not familiar, the Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game that is played on Tuesday and Friday. I'm sure most of you have probably heard of it, especially if you or your parents have ever played the lottery. Anywho, I played $10 on tonight's Mega Millions drawing. Generally, I win $5 or $10 from time to time, but never have I won anything bigger than that. Well tonight I hit for $150! That's more than I've ever hit before! 

Woot!

The Weatherscan @ Camden, NJ was freezing a few times around 5PM this afternoon. Could this be symptoms of a sun outage?

They wont last a "week long period" they will happen for a few days for about 15 minutes each day... In my experience, with dishes 31" and bigger, the outage will only last for a peak of about 6 minutes (Cable headends use 6ft + dishes so they will be out for about that time) while DTH users such as Dish Network / DTV can expect a full 15 min.

Twice a year, in the spring and fall, we experience temporary service outages because of the path of the sun. We call it sun transit. It’s when the sun passes directly behind our satellites and interferes with the signals.

These service outages are minor. The worst case is about 15 minutes a day for about 10 days. Often it only lasts three days. Sun transit can also interfere with transmission of various channels because other satellites, used to broadcast these signals, are also affected by sun transit.

I actually shortchanged the time period. The time frame is more like a month, according tho the folks at TWC. They cited September 25th-October 19th. Though when any one person experiences one depends on their geographic location.

This has been planned ever since TWC announced it would be in HD, and ihas been discussed either here and/or TWC Classics.

How would you (or I for that matter) know what's being discussed at TWCC? 

I'm positive it's been discussed here.

I know that it's been in many of the first news articles when TWC announced that it would be going HD last year. I'm sure they've been posted.

So your basically speculating. You don't KNOW anyhting. At least not for sure.

I haven;t searched for it recently.

If your not a member searching won't turn anything up at TWCC, at least as long as the information is in the current TWC boards, where it theoretically should be.
