Don't play word games (childish).

Exactly. And it illustrates nicely what I was talking about.

Chris, I had a hell of a day today. Don't fart with me, 'cause you'll get the stinky end.  ;)

Not a chance. A high school diploma is a requirement for a tech position.

Why is it that it seems so many TWC fans are so emotionally disturbed? :dunno:

I think that explains it all.

I agree that its useful, but only the basics. I don't know about you all, but I've yet to use the Pathagoreon Theorem in my everyday life. Nor do I ever use complex equations. And frankly, most of my math contains numbers, not letters.  :P

Do we know if http://www.weatherplus.com/ is going down the drain too?

I think it would. It would probly redirect too weather.com.

No, it wouldn't direct to weather.com.

I'm pulling for the Rays to win the ALCS. I've seen enough of Boston. Give someone else a turn.

Yeah, good point Gary.

And for the record - I want nothing to do with math. Hence why I steered clear of meteorology. I HATE math with a passion!

LOL, you think you hate it? I suck so bad at math that I never made it past Algebra 1. Ugh, what misery that shit is.

I'm awaiting my SAT scores (due in October 23rd) and then I'm applying to Slippery Rock University (my 1st choice), and Indiana University of PA (2nd choice), and Penn State Erie (3rd choice). And guess what I'm not going for... meteorology or graphic design. I'm planning on applying for criminal justice. The little boy who wants to be a detective still haunts me deep down inside. :pirate:

Very interesting. I always wanted to get into that field too, but I was just never sure if I had the stomach for it.  :D

Yeah, it does take a stomach, though I think I can do it. My ultimate goal would be to work for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. I just keep ruminating whether or not I'm making a mistake by not getting into a field in which I know I'm good at - graphic design.

I guess you have to look at it this way: which would you prefer-doing something just because your good at it, or doing something because its what you want to do?  ;)
