Local Forecast / Classic Artists on MySpace
« on: November 20, 2008, 09:54:37 AM »
someone came up with this idea for current TWC artists, so I thought I'd adapt it for classic TWC artists. If you know of any classic TWC artist who has a MySpace, post it here!  B)

Just to let you guys know, I've shortened the smiley's some. I've taken one entire row out. Let me know if this is not sufficient and I'll take some more out.  B)

Kenny G sucks.

Kenny G has 1 single song that I like-The Joy Of Life. The rest are so-so at best IMO.

I don't watch any of those shows. Just SNL. I've never liked MadTV, nor any of those other shows. I used to watch Springer wayyyy back when it was on NBC, but after awhile you get tired of the same old trailer park trash every day.

I do however watch Dr. Phil from time to time.  :P

General Discussion / Re: Gas prices in your area

I kid you not, oil is trading in electronic trading at 50.50/barrel.  And one gallon of gas on the open market (pre-tax/transportation/fees) is going for 1.03/gal.
Wow, that's simply amazing. I knew it was going to drop, but I'm absolutley shocked at just how far it has dropped. The bottom has just fallen out. And as far as I can see there's nothing yet indicating that this drop is over.

Where was this information obtained? I don't believe ANYTHING I read on forums unless its from a person I know is trustworthy, or a source I know is trustworthy.

That's the first thing I thought. He's been the most prolifically played guitarist in recent months, so it seems extremely likely it could be him.

Whats even odder is that the Star Team asked if someone could help this guy at TWCC. He doesnt seem to give enough info though and he even seems to contradict himself about liking TWC music
What's odd about that Martin?  :dunno:

Found something interesting that I thought I'd post for the heck of it. Seems some blogger heard a tune he liked on TWC and is trying to ID it:

Granted he doesn't offer much of a description, but I figured one of you guys might be able to figure it out. He DOES narrow it down some, though, by saying its a guitar song.

Oh Oh TWC let me choose the people you need to get rid of!
  • Forecast Earth Staff

  • Heidi Cullen

There you go. Simply run some old Storm Stories episodes in its place! I guess they can lay off some of their production crew too since most of the studio is automated.

LOL, yeah good riddance!  :rofl2: :P

...Hopefully, we'll find out what positions were effected by the layoffs soon.

Yeah I hope so. I'll certainly be looking out for any information that comes out.

General Discussion / Re: The Holidays Come Earlier Each Year
« on: November 19, 2008, 06:44:34 PM »
The reason I say that is all the early Christmas shopping hype seems to overshadow it.

Christmas is a far more economic based holiday (sadly) than Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving has managed to maintain its roots as a holiday about celebrating our country's founding. People haven't found a way to make money off of it yet.

According to the following article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution TWC has laid off some of its employees. The article says it is not known how many or who was laid off.

I didn't see this coming!

Is Thanksgiving even considered to be an important holiday anymore?

I would think so...

Well I didn't know he uses Yahoo Mail too. Maybe this Jimmy person is just a little kid who has no idea about what he's talking about?

There is no Jimmy. Read Vic.
