Does this guarantee that Jeff was axed, or could it just be referring to everyone else in the division being axed, with Jeff being moved into the studio as an OCM?

...so is the whole TWC Radio division pretty much gone?
Yeah, pretty much. What I heard is that it took a huge hit, and that most of the radio staff are gone.

Not sure who said anything about WxPlus necessarily going off the air now. The most definitive thing I've heard is "by the end of the year". There's still an entire month left in the year!

That's because AFAIK that info is only used at TWCC for the purposes of the STAR tea. I have no STAR team here, so I don't see the need for the ID number.

On a seperate note, I've tidied up the date registered field a bit. It looks a little less cluttered now.

I've re-added some of the TWC profile fields that I had previously removed. But only some of them. And they are completely optional. You can fill them out if you wish, or ignore them if you do not want to fill them out.

That's alright, it looks good enough to me.
I've just added a mod that adds the board guidelines to the menu bar at the top of the screen, much like on IPB forums. The rules of the forum are to be found there from now on. The rules thread will remain, but it will no longer remain stickied.

I've been giving alot of thought to the possibility that we might see some of the folks from WxPlus on TWC sometime in the near future. after all, they're going to need jobs. So why should TWC/NBC replace TWC's staff from outside when they could do it from within.

I just don't think its fair to assume that someone isn't recycling based on the presence (or not) of their recycling container. There ARE other ways besides sitting them out for the collector.

The member number is the user account number, based on how many members there are. I.E., you're member number 1 (because you created the board), I'm member number 2 (I was the first member to sign up), and it goes up from there.
Its the same in that its an indicator of when you registered.

« on: November 30, 2008, 08:42:15 PM »I do. I try to turn off electronics not in use (tv, computer, lights), etc. We also recycle paper, plastic, glass, and aluminum (its a law here; you must recycle biweekly or face a $500 fine/offense).
Wow, mandatory recycling. Don't lawmakers have better things to worry about? I'm sorry but whether I recycle should be no one's concern but mine.
