I had no idea Dave Koz had a contract UMG, either. :o

He doesn't. He's with Capitol Records, which is NOT affiliated with UMG. I don't know where you guys got the notion that every artist that complains is with UMG, but its false.

OCMs & Personalities / Re: Mike Bettes

It sure is. I've actually heard of the real OCM's reporting some of the false profiles to MySpace and Facebook. Jeff Mielcarz is notorious for doing that.

Yes!! He posted two more!

I know the song in the first one is Foundwind by Shadowfax, but does anyone know the second one? Sounds like Artie Traum...

Anyway, this is the first time in years that I've seen the CC screen, regional obs, or latest obs for my area's 4000 in years! I'm actually very surprised at how closely I was able to remember everything for the emulator. The only thing I noticed is that his CC location is Baltimore, and I know for a FACT that mine was Martin Airport. He lives in Baltimore County too, but maybe he lives in a different area than I do or something... :dunno:

I had a horrible day.  I was running late this morning, woke up with a headache, got a D on my math test, cut my hand on my locker, came home and learned that my dog of 14 years had to be put to sleep today :(  Loosing an animal is so hard, espeically for my mom.

Sorry to hear about your loss Kyle.  :(

I've lost three dogs though, so I've been there.

Here's my idea of what the main forums logo would look like at any given time that it isn't a twc alert/event mode or a holiday...

There is a fade in here from white to clear, it just may not be very visible on such a light background, but it's there...

I like it! Very nice!

Let's see...we've got Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween covered...how about an Independence day logo (maybe stars and stripes or something)? Maybe something for St. Patricks Day (clovers?). Easter? Maybe something for a heat wave? Those are usually significant.

So this kid comes up to me today asking for gum. I say, "I'll give you gum if you tell me what my name is." He didn't know!  NO GUM FOR YOU! :rofl2:

On another note, I learned that my History teacher's initials are KKK. :o

It has yet to get above 15 degrees today. :brr: :brr: :brr:

LOL, that's certainly an effective solution to the gum problem!

This clip from April 2005 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fy9TY2u3Oo#noexternalembed) has the orange text on it, so it has to be from then. I know I've been under severe weather watches in Summer 2004 and I can't recall seeing this. Maybe it was the Sept 2004 update? The first time I saw this on my Star was Summer 2005.

I thought I remember seeing that orange text during severe weather on my IS in 2004, but I could be wrong.

You are. It hasn't been around that long.

You don't file lawsuits. The only filing your parents might do is for bankruptcy protection.

I heard about this earlier. It will be interesting to see if any familiar names get cut. I heard that this is going to effect both their MSNBC and NBC news operations, amongst other things.
