Hmmm...that's interesting. But doesn't seem like the "fairly big" change Matt mentioned...

I know I've never heard of it...

Tyler, your at TWCT. I agree with you, but don't go to that extent with my members. I'm the only one allowed to cuss at them.

It's mainly determined by air temperature (32 and below).

I don't think that's quite what he was asking.

NWS is now reporting:

SNOW
FREEZING FOG

What the heck is freezing fog??

Freezing fog is when the water droplets in the fog freeze on contact with objects.
So if it's foggy outside...As soon as it "hits" an object, it turns to water? That's weird. How do they determine that?

Basically. If you've ever been outside on a foggy day you've noticed that the ground seems a bit damp, as do cars and other objects. In freezing fog, the water droplets that make fog freeze the surfaces they touch instead of making them damp.

As to how the determine that...I'm not a meteorologist. 'nuff said.  :bleh: :D

Maybe Squizz has other priorities he had to take care of. He may return, he may not. You never know. Some people tend to drift away. It happens. But I understand your views though.

I joined around the same time as Squizz and I'm an active member :)

Who said I wouldn't come back?

*gives hugs*
I missed you guys. I just had a lot in school and I got carried away.

Good to have you back, Squizz!  :hug2: :bleh:
