I'm sure there's plenty of videos on YouTube that you could take some screenshots from if you need screencaps for any of the IS flavors.

It's not so much the screenshots I'm concerned about, I can get those easily. I'm more concerned about the actual flavor lineups. The order of the screens and such. There are at least two different lineups per flavor depending on whether there is precipitation present or not. I'll have to investigate all my IS videos to get the correct lineups and times of day each play.

I'm confused now, because this has nothing to do (it seems) with the problem you just told me about a short time ago. But anyway, can you tell me how long its gonna take to get it done? If its not going to be today then I'll have to proceed with today's update without the Flavor Guide.

Have you tried cleaning the contacts in the cartridge? I swear, i've had some of my SNES cartridges for more than 10 years and I've never blown on them.

Gee, while reading through the last few pages of this thread... it made me remember why Gil was suspended (and now, ultimately banned) so many times from TWCClassics. [Gil][/Gil]

Trust me, at times he's come close to suffering the same fate here. And quite honestly I've put up with as much as I care to at this point. Hisvery next outburst could be his last. Ijust hope he keeps behaving, becausewhen he's not acting up he'sa very valuable member.

Gil, I just have to know-how is it possible that you could remember doing this when the NES came on and went off the video game scene before you were born?

Because imy brother got the original NES for one of his birthdays, and had it till I was about 8. and i still have the
SNES. So yeaj.

I can understand how you experienced the NES then. But with the SNES you rarely had to blow in the cartridges (at least in my experience).

Yes the cable company decides which STAR to use. The best way, then, to find out which STAR a particular area uses is to contact the cable company that serves that area.

It was a chilly night last night here with the low officially at 44 degrees.  Not too far from here in Port Huron the low was 37 degrees.

I grew up on the NES.  Some of my favorite games were the Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3, Duck Hunter , Punch out, a TMNT game, and there were a few others as well.  Since the NES I've has a Sony Playstation, Playstation 2, Microsoft Xbox, and Xbox 360.  I also had a friend with a Sega Genesis that we played a lot. Does anyone remember the fun of having to blow into the cartridges to get the games to work? 

LOL, yes I remember blowing into many a cartridge.

Billy, how are the last two pages of the Flavor guide coming (the main page and the IS page)? Not trying to hurry you or anything, but I would like to try and get that up today, along with the other updates I have planned.

Well, the IntelliStar flavor page is taking longer than I expected. Since the IS is so called "intelligent", there are many different flavor lineups compared to the other STARs. I'm about half way finished. Expect it to be finished later today, hopefully.

I hadn't though about that. Now I understand why the IS page is taking as long as it is. No hurry though. Just get it done when you can.  8)
