And, is it a permanent change now that EEWC is solo? Just because they got rid of 3 OCMs?

Yes. Your going to see that many of them are off for most of the week. I'm interested in seeing how things go. I expect to see alot of odd pairings. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the senior meteorologists that we don't often see, like Stu Ostro and Keith Westerlage make appearances before it's all said and done.

Though its unrelated, many of the local stations here have been operating on a very skin and bones staff since the middle of last week, because so many regulars are on vacation. The point is, this is a very popular time for vacationing, and your bound to see very skimpy staff's.

I wonder if this is a true statement or a lie, because the site may be shutting down.

And, what will the future be for SS8 now? Will it be permanently discontinued because, according to curtjr4, "there is a new 'so called' policy that no one under the age of 15 can be on the workteam"? Or am I just taking this way too far?

And, BTW, how old is this Jeremy?

I believe Jeremy is 18, but I'm not entirely sure.

it appears as if the SilverStar 8 website no longer functions at all.

Well, when I try to access the site, the homepage still comes up, and the videos still function, but the links at the top (i.e. Silver Connect, Wallpapers, About Us, etc.) are almost all broken.

I am interested what the bottom line will be on SS8. Is the whole thing going to be discontinued?

Jeremy is the guy that started and runs SS8. He's the big cheese over there, so to speak. 

Ah. I thought Andrew was in charge of it all. I guess I was wrong there.

No he's not. He only thinks he is.

I hope he does. I know I have already said this, but I really like the idea of having special banners for holidays. It adds much more pizzazz to the sight.

Zack..Chris...whoever the hell you are, don't be bad mouthing my members over what's going on at SS 8. If anything, this thread brought into the light the many problems of SS 8. if all of whats going on over there is a result of this thread, its because they knew their asses were pinned to the wall and they had to make some MAJOR changes.

Was that directed to the Management, or the people who lost there jobs?

What part of it? The first paragraph was directed at management for supposedly giving (according to you) the power to remove testers. The second part was directed at Zach.
