I assume that you have a splitter on your phone jack so that you can hook up both the telephone and the modem. Put a filter on the telephone line, but do not put one on the modem line. I can't believe that your ISP wouldn't tell you that. The filter is interfering with the modem.Yeah, they told us to take it out. I had no idea that you were not supposed to use it on the modem, but I'll be sure to let my parents know.
