Welcome to TWC Today's Artist chat Board! Here you may chat with and ask questions of your favorite TWC artists. There are a few rules, though, that should be followed:

1) Treat each other and the musicians with respect. Remember, those that are here chose to be here, and can easily choose not to be.

2) No personal questions. If its something you wouldn't share, don't ask.

3) Do NOT PM the musicians. This is just like the STAR Team board at TWCC. Chat and question the musicians on the public forum only please.

And of course, all of the other forum rules apply here as well. Questions may be directed to myself, Kyle, or Stephen. Thank you and enjoy!

Folks, I just hatched an excellent new idea for the forum. I'm not going to go into detail right now, but lets just say it involves getting our beloved artists to come and chat with us here at the forum. 

FYI, I was standing in the shower with a head full of shampoo when the idea came to me.

TWC Today News / Warning System Guidelines

Ok, as you all probably know by now, this forum now has a warning system. Here is how it will work:

It will be based on 20% increments, for a total of five warning levels. Warnings are removed after 30 days of good behavior. Anyone who gets 5 warnings, or 100% warning level, will be suspended for 30 days. After that time, you may return. If you should happen to get 5 warns a second time, your banned indefinitley.

You can tell you've been warned by the small "Member Watched" text that appears at the bottom left of any of your posts, as well as in your profile.

Questions are welcome.

TWC Today News / Attention All Members

The long awaited 2.0 release of SMF is now available, and as such I will be installing it tomorrow morning (too late tonight  ). Therefore, the board may be down at times during the morning hours. Please bear with us if any downtime does occur. Also, as this is a new version of the forum software, with MANY new features, myself and both of my co-admins will need some time to learn everything. Again, bear with us.

Finally, this is a BETA version. Therefore, errors and problems may occur. If you experience any problems, please PM me immediately and let me know. Problems more than likely WILL occur. But again, bear with us.

Should any major problem come up that will keep the board down for an extended time, I will do my best to somehow communicate that information to everyone.

Thank you all in advance for your patience and cooperation. Feel free to post any comments or questions you may have.

TWC Today News / Anyone here knowledeable in HTML/XHTML/CSS?

As the title says, I am looking for some help from someone who has some knowledge in HTMl/XHTML/CSS, preferrable someone with a at the very least a decent amount of knowledge. Here's why: I am trying to spruce up the code of all the sites pages, but with so many,that's quite a monumental task for one person. Add to that my minimal (at best) knowledge of XHTML and CSS, and that makes for a very arduous task.

If you Google HTML validation, and plug my URL into the first site on the list (the W3C's HTML checker), it'll spit out a list of errors on each page of the site. What I need is for someone to help me correct these problems. I'm hoping that two people working at it can get the job done relatively quickly. I will give you a batch of pages,and when your done, you can send them back to me, and we'll repeat the process until all are done. I too will be working on pages (in fact, I've already completed a few), so my hope is that we can get a decent amount done in a short time.

If anyone here is sufficiently knowledgeable ad would like to help, let me know.

General Weather Chat / 15th Aniversary of 93 Superstorm

I just realized that today marks the 15th Anniversary of the Super Storm of 1993. If you were around at the time (and living anywhere in the Eastern half of the U.S.) you certainly remember this storm. It dumped upwards of 1-2 feet of snow in many areas.

TWC Today News / Emulator Project On-Hold

Just wanted to let you guys know that I've made the emulator portion of the forum invisibile, as the project is a rather low priority at the moment for Kyle. He has other pressing concerns he's dealing with, and as such I don't want to see him constantly being nagged about progress on the project. When Kyle has the other concerns out of the way and is ready to proceed with the emulator, I will return the emulator boards. Again, they have only been made invisible. They are still here, and all the posts will remain.

This is a message to anyone who uses the game room, particularly those who use it alot. There are going to be some major changes coming soon. I simply do not like the way things are currently going in there, and I'm going to see what I can do to change it. I will be consulting with admins at other forums as well as my co-admins here to determine the following:

-Is there a problem
-How major is it
-What should be done to remedy it


When I come to a decision regarding what will be done, I will update you.

Ok, so I have come up with (what I think is) a good idea for a new section for the site. I'd like to know what you guys think. Click the following link to view a concept of the new page:

Keep in mind, it is only a concept, not a live page so nothing in the page works. Basically, I've decided to create a reference section. In it will be FAQ's, Glossary of Terms, Timeline, STAR Guide, and anything else I can come up with to put in there. As you can see, I am going to be not only adding new stuff, but also integrating existing pages. What I want to know, then, is what you guys think, and any other ideas you can come up with for additional content that can be put in this section.
