We now have subtropical depression 17 in the Atlantic, which may become Otto sometime today. Based on the current track, it doesn't look like a major threat to any land.

I was thinking that in the "The Weather Channel 2000-Present" category, the "OCMs" forum should be renamed to "Personalities" or "OCMs & Personalities" since we talk about more than just OCMs in that forum... Just a suggestion.

Good morning, STAR team. My STAR went down yesterday morning around 9-10ish am. I figured it would be temporary, but the STAR is still down. I am currently only getting the satellite forecast and such. Could you please look in to this issue for me? Thank you in advance! :-)

Hi, STAR Team. My TWC/IntelliStar feed has been frozen since 7:53pm last night. I came home this morning around 7:30am, and it is still on the same frozen frame, with the Severe Thunderstorm Warning crawl frozen as well. Is there anything you guys can do on your end or is there something Comcast has to take care of? Thanks for taking the time to take care of this in advance!

The show style logos you all know and love have returned... They're NOT the finalized versions... Why? Well I'm giving the community an opportunity to improve on them. I know I had a few people PM me or IM me saying that such and such logo should be tweaked in this way and such and such logo should be tweaked that way. Well, now the community has an opportunity to act on their opinions. I am, by far, not the greatest graphic designer in the world by any means. I would love to see what the community comes up with. Below are the show logos in their current form:

TWC Today News / TWCT/TWCC Forums Merge set on schedule for April 4th

From every angle I am seeing, and with Martin and Matt's approvals and concerns taken care of, we are ON SCHEDULE to start the user merge on Sunday, April 4th. Here is a breakdown of what will happen, basically, from my end:
- There are 540-some users to merge in to the current SMF board.
- All users will have to be merged in one by one manually.
- All TWCC users that are merged in will have a "TWCC_" prefixed to their current username.
- The merge shouldn't take more than a day or two, but could take up to a full week.
- The forums will be LOCKED and inaccessible during this merge. They could be down for a few days, but could take up to a full week. I will not unlock the forums mid-merge. It causes too many problems and possible member number collisions.
As I have stated before, If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Yes, the "chat" that we all know and love (lol) will be alive during this merge. The link is accessible here, if you would like to add this URL to your bookmarks. I hope that everyone is ready, and I hope you all understand why the forums will be inaccessible for this merge.
Once again, if you all have any questions, comments, concerns, suggestions, insults, etc, feel free to post them here, or contact any member of Administration or myself personally.
