LF's do appear to be done, just when they started to air a decent playlistYou clearly don't know how the television industry works, do you?. What a waste of resources. I also don't take too kindly to commercials being of a higher priority than Local on the 8's. I know that they need the revenue, but if they had to cut out something I'd imagine commercials would be first on the chopping block, IF they had their priorities straight, which they obviously do not. Airing trashy music on the few LF's they have left, trashy reality programming, and keeping their 2 minutes of commercials as sacrosanct as Social Security appears to be top priority nowadays. I've watched coverage of the Superstorm as much as anyone else, but it's really the only reason I'm even watching TWC now. I will say, however, that I'm glad that they chose to completely cut out LF's instead of airing that half-baked squeezeback - that's the only thing that could be worse.
And about the revenue, I think if they're desperate enough to fire their good OCM's to shave a few thousand dollars off their salary, and cutting out LF's in favor of commercials during their coverage, I think they should just shut themselves down. Of course, I suppose if they still have Al Roker on board they can't be too desperate.
I've been noticing a large increase in guest posts recently, and some of them have come from previously banned members. I'd like to ask everyone, especially the administrators and moderators, if we should consider disabling guest posting to prevent these problems and actually encourage people to register here and become members. I'm kind of getting tired of monitoring guest posts and figuring out if the person is really legit or someone trying to sidestep around a ban. Thoughts?I would disable it.

I know the hurricane is serious. Maybe, if she does not get a chance to say goodbye live. Perhaps she could record a goodbye and post it on youtube or her facebook page?She already said her goodbyes on her TWC Facebook page. She set up a Facebook Fan Page for herself separate from TWC.
Did Heather get a chance to say goodbye? My power went off prior to the end of her scheduled shift. She looked really sad(like she had been crying) but like the dedicated professional she is. she was great! I looked at the "new" TWC November schedule. And Day Planner is still on as usual. Sadly, it seems to me, because she has seniority there, and probably makes more money. Management decided to not renew her contract. Sad, very sad. Go to school, learn your craft well. Make a good living. Only to be shown the door. Because u are good at what you do. And make good money.Due to circumstances beyond her control, due to Sandy's approach, they could not do a proper goodbye for her.
