It looks like the new AccuWeather.com design has come out of beta and is now on the main page.

Now this is something I will be looking forward to. Her personality at CBS3 is great imo. I doubt we would see her on air on TWC before May imo. She's still pregnant.

Aaron, Home Improvement airs on TV Land now weeknights at 9. I don't get why they're showing that show when shows older than HI (Cosby Show, Family Matters, and the Nanny) are airing on Nick.
Thanks for letting me know that. I have been needing to see the show again and it's bittersweet :P
Actually, Family Matters is the same age as Home Improvement, and actually had the same season years (1991-1999, afaik)
Family Matters aired from 1989-1998, Home Improvement was from 1991-1999

General Discussion / Re: Slingbox?
« on: February 28, 2010, 08:38:16 PM »
I don't. Too expensive down here.

Although I really want to invest in one.

I'm looking into getting the SlingBox solo. Does it stream 1080i HD through component video and can I output it to the TV since our box only has one set of component video jacks? Can't use HDMI because we have a rear-projection TV. :hmm:
I have a SlingBox SOLO. Yes it can stream 1080i HD, as I do it with my TIVO. It does not do it in true HD though, as for a security measure, it scales the HD picture down significantly, but keeps it in the 16:9 ratio, hence why my screen caps are somewhat blurryish.

Gotta have a Wawa :P
Nono, it's "gotta hava wawa" :bleh:
You're both wrong. I can tell you don't have Wawa stores... The official slogan, since 2005, is gottahava Wawa. The phrase is all one word.

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Comcast Rebranding Services to "xfinity"
« on: February 21, 2010, 10:34:31 AM »
another reason why they rebranded could be in the event the FCC/SEC/DOJ forces them to split Comcast up so that way that they won't monopolize the cable industry. they do have a pending buyout of NBC-Universal on there hands, they are waiting on FCC, SEC and the DOJ to approve of the buyout.
But its still Comcast right? I thought it was just a name change, not a separate division or anything.
The corporate name is going to remain Comcast Corporation. AFAIK, they're rebranding their services.
