Barack Obama wins re-election.
Mitt Romney concedes.
Marriage equality is made legal in Maine and Maryland.
The first openly gay Senator is elected as well.

I didn't vote this year
Why?
Victor. Be warned. If you do not like who wins the Presidency, you have no right to complain about him since you chose not to vote.
its not that, I just dont care for either candidate.
Whatever happens will happen speculating doesnt help anything in my opinion
I respect your choice, but there are 5 choices you can make for President - it's not just between Obama and Romney.
There's actually 10....

Democrat
Barack Obama & Joe Biden

Republican
Mitt Romney & Paul Ryan

Libertarian
Gary Johnson & James P. Gray

Green
Jill Stein & Cheri Honkala

Constitution
Virgil H. Goode Jr. & James N. Clymer

Justice
Ross C. "Rocky" Anderson & Luis J. Rodriguez

Socialism and Liberation
Peta Lindsay & Yari Osorio

American Third Position
Merlin Miller & Harry V. Bertram

Socialist Workers
James Harris & Maura Deluca

NSA did 911
Jeff Boss & Bob Pasternak

and let's not forget Roseanne Barr!! lol

WeatherSTAR Tech Support / Re: Timing issues

I hate to have to bump this thread, but this same problem has crept up again.  It began a few days ago, and it's been getting progressively worse.

Thanks again!   B)
I would actually recommend starting a new topic (I'm assuming a mod will spin it in to its own thread) as the STAR team may see this as just a generic reply and not view the thread for the new issue.

I didn't understand the rush to make it, they could have waited a few months after everything is accessed before going of and making a documentary about a storm that still is ongoing as far the aftermath assessment.
Gotta milk the "#1 most watched Hurricane Sandy coverage channel" ratings for all it's worth. TWC isn't the only one who has done or will do this.

As soon as Martin is back home and I'm not busy caring for my ailing mother (she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure a few weeks ago), I'll work with Martin to come up with a game plan to see if the shift to weather can occur smoothly, if this, indeed, turns out to be the best option. We all here value each and every one of your opinions, so keep them coming guys!!

I don't see Jim Cantore going anywhere anytime soon unless he chooses to retire.

Kelly Cass said that TWC will be broadcasting the Hurricane Sandy Concert on Friday, 8PM/11PM ET. Other NBC Universal Networks are also broadcasting it too.

How sappy of them. Perhaps they could focus on reporting on the weather and/or Sandy's aftermath  :hmm:.
They have all day, and still are except for the concert. All of the networks of NBCUniversal broadcast it. For you to say that is incredibly insensitive and offensive. I've learned to respect your opinions, but this is going to far. How dare you. I don't know if you're in an area that was ravaged by this Superstorm, but I'm, as well as a lot of people here, have been affected by this storm. I'm lucky I didn't experience any power outage or the like, but a shittonne of people in NJ and NY experience massive damage. Learn to have some respect and compassion for other people's opinions, because you, kind sir, have pissed me off and offended me immensely.

So...did anyone catch Jim Cantore on the Late Show last night?

Yes. The fact that the show was audience free made it a tad bit awkward for me, but he did a good job.

Shifting gears...is anyone seeing the new Youtube layout? The website seems to have gone the way of Google+.
If anyone would like to watch Jim Cantore on the Late Show, you can visit http://www.cbs.com/shows/late_show/video/2298562968/the-late-show-10-30-2012 approx 20 minutes in..

Hope all of you had a good Halloween if you could.  It's hard to believe that November has arrived.  The holidays will be here before you know it.
Chris Christie signed an executive order postponing Halloween and Trick or Treating in New Jersey until Monday, times to be determined by each individual city and township.
