It depends on what Tyler comes up with by Fridays night... both Martin and Matt chose that logo.

Hmm, I wonder if the HTCs will look like the Motorola DROID when they get ANDROID 2.0.
It most certainly will not look like those screenshot images. I can guarantee you that.

So, I bought a Motorola DROID a few weeks ago... I transitioned from a BlackBerry Storm to a Motorola DROID... I have to say, I am impressed with my purchase and am happy I have made it. It runs on the Android 2.0 OS, which is a linux based distro. I rooted the phone, which gives me the ability to run applications in super user mode, which enabled me to play around a bit with my home screen and looks and what not. I replaced the stock keyboard application and stock home screen application, and I'm enjoying it so far... Every day I keep playing around with it, finding new things, and playing around a lot.

Specs: http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/US-EN/Consumer-Product-and-Services/Mobile-Phones/ci.Motorola-DROID-US-EN.alt

Screenshots of my hackery*:

Replaced stock keyboard, which is more powerful than the stock keyboard. It's called "Better Android Keyboard"... go figure. It gives me spelling suggestions, auto complete options, and popup keys. Popup keys is one of the features from the iPhone I like... it helps me to see what letters I'm pressing...

*Snapshots may be a little blurry as they are enlarged, but show up perfectly fine on the phone itself.

I'll probably play around with it some more and hack it around a bit more to my liking. Overall, I am impressed that Motorola developed such a great phone, especially after their shiteous ones.

I'm not the biggest fan of the vertical line and the all-lowercase twc classics, but I like the all one-line logo best. And I still think we should have "in partnership with..." :P
The title case TWC Classics is from the forums, the twc|classics is from the site... it's really up to Matt and Martin what they want... I'm still waiting for Tyler to hurry up with his "monkeying around" lol

Using inspiration from Andy, Here's a mockup of a possible logo... I would like to know everyone's thoughts and suggestions for changes...

If I have to choose between this one and the wider one, I prefer this one. Though our name should be much bigger. J/K :P
The name is the exact same size, point wise lol

Thoughts?

Any way you can post the Photoshop file of the TWCT logo, please? I'd like to mess around with things if you don't mind.
Please don't screw it up to the point where I can no longer do the show logos. Also, please post any fonts that you use if you use any that I don't have. Please post your "messing around" images ASAP, if you could please. Thank you.

Noted... Andy's original design had "in partnership with" in it too... I will play around with these a bit when I awaken from my deep slumber.

Not bad, but I think trying to mold the TWCT and TWCC logos together may be a better idea.
I highly disagree with you on that one. In my honest opinion, I feel both places should be mentioned on the logo. Martin has expressed that he wishes both places be mentioned... I'm unsure what Matt wanted, as it wasn't relayed over to me. Just remember, the dashes are for the TWC show that is on, not a part of the logo itself technically. Never has been. This is just a mock up at the moment... Adjustments would be made if necessary, and is pending approval from both parties.

The younger crowd might not understand it, but it's an oldie, but it made me :

Consumerist had a post in the past few days that shows that the EnergyStar label may be virtually useless since it wasn't regulated properly...

Remember, posts themselves aren't being transferred over. Only the members and post counts are. The archive version of twcc will have all the posts for viewing purposes and reference.

*makes note* I'll be sure to bring it up with Martin when I see him around tonight hopefully.

Thank you for the notice.
No problem :)
