Hi, STAR Team. My TWC/IntelliStar feed has been frozen since 7:53pm last night. I came home this morning around 7:30am, and it is still on the same frozen frame, with the Severe Thunderstorm Warning crawl frozen as well. Is there anything you guys can do on your end or is there something Comcast has to take care of? Thanks for taking the time to take care of this in advance!

UPDATE: It seems local ad inserts still seem to go through fine... then back to the same frozen feed.

Can you spot the tweaks? As you can tell, I wasn't kidding about seeing if we could make very minor tweaks. What I have done is changed the font of the "&" (because I felt the original one in BankGothic font "stuck out" a little) and "stretched out" twc|classics because it looked just a little too condensed.

If you all like my tweaks, I will post the PSD file here, and I would also need to change all the logos slightly and re-post them. Please excuse me for being very picky like this...sometimes that's how I am.

I agree! I really like those changes. Lets go with it!

I'll get on it this weekend... I need to know what font the & is in though....

Gotta love Comcast, they ended up not adding TWC HD to my system. 

Edit: Just got off the phone with Comcast and they told me "we see no records of any new HD channels being added for today (4/21) sorry for the inconvenience this problem may have caused"

& get this, Why send a notification bill specifically stating HD channels would be added if it's not in the computer system? I'm flipping mad

Now you understand how I felt when March 26th came and went and I didn't get anything either. I'm over it at this point, but soon I hope, lol

Wow, no one is interested? Usually when Martin or Jesse have a contest to design a logo, they get flooded with submissions!

Give it a few days.... I posted a forum logo design contest and so far no submissions... Don't feel bad. Also, not all of the TWCC forums people have made it over here yet too... There's a lot of factors.

Might I suggest a few less specifics... like for instance, you want rounded corners and NO boxes... That may turn a lot of people off who don't know how to do rounded corners, as it's a bit of CSS work to get right in most browsers. Rethinking might get some attention.

Hopefully this helps a bit...

Today, while going through my 2008 recordings, I found a Weather Center intro video, but I noticed that it had a softer intro, just like how PM Edition sometimes is. Was it just like this on the HD feed? I never noticed it myself.

I'm attaching a recording of it. It's from 8/16/08 @ 3:30 PM ET. And sorry about the beginning of it, my receiver used to pixelate a lot when we first got HD. >_<

And to compare, here was the normal intro sound:

All the show openers have an "acoustic" like opener. I haven't actually heard Weather Center 2008's... It's nice sounding, for like a sad time or something...

Jesse, is it OK if I just make minor tweaks to some of the logos, or do you want some big changes? Most of them are very good.

In making the tweaks, do you all like twc classics in all lowercase with the vertical line (|), or can I change that?

Minor, major... anything you want to do, go for it. I'm open to seeing what anyone comes up with. The twc|classics is like this because of the logo on the main page of TWC Classics.

They didn't even spell it right.... it's Eyjafjallajökull, which is pronounced [ˈɛɪjaˌfjatlaˌjœkʏtl̥] according to wikipedia.
