Looks great! Was this Photoshopped?

I used Photoshop CS3... Photoshop is the best imo because it uses the layout guides in the .tif files to make sure they snap into the right place

How do you stretch out the tabs to be perfectly shaped?

I used the rectangle tool to make the tabs, then dragged in the tab ends to make it all snap into place.

Very nice! What font did you use for the temperatures, wind speeds, etc?

The Current Conditions title uses Interstate-Bold 30pt
the CAMDEN text uses Interstate-Bold 18pt
Partly Cloudy, Win uses Interstate-Bolt 24pt
the 88* on the left uses Frutiger LT Std (65 Bold) 60pt
the Humidity, Dew Point, etc on the left side on the right uses Frutiger (bold) 20pt
The 41%, etc on the right side on the right uses Frutiger LT Std (65 Bold) 30pt
The miniature INCHES and MILES uses the same font above except 14 pt
the temperature/time tabs in the LDL uses Interstate-Bold 12pt
the tabs on the left will eventually utilize Interstate-RegularCondensed 14 pt, same as I used in the sig
The scrolling text uses Helvetica 18 pt.

Also, I've updated my signature to look like the LDL too... may not appear correctly on IE browsers 6.0 and lower... :nods:

I think there are a lot of people who communicate with us on these forums and other places online because they have little friends in real life, as well as emotional problems. Though, that really isn't the right thing to do if you want to improve yourself. I've noticed this at other forums I've been to too, not just TWC forums.

That's me. No body likes me at school. They say when I come back from being absent,"I liked it when you weren't here."

Yeah, I'm probably going to pick up some digital coverters on my own and install it myself. I don't have the time and patience to have several inexperienced "professionals" to install it for me and have to wait for a week.

The inexperienced "professionals" arrive, try to make it work, fail, then expect you to sign the form, what I do is I grab the form, I cross out the "work completed" line and mark the "work not done" box and sign the form just so they get in trouble. I know that's an ass move, but it's the truth. I've had to have 5 people come by to get my CableCARDs working on my TiVo and it's still not complete, but I get my channels so I've let it slide for now. They don't know what they're doing 90% of the time. I've had only 2 people come to this house who know what they were doing. One got the CableCARDs working 90%, the other got my line fixed 100% and installed a new line coming into the house. Meh, if I was able to do this myself, I would do it, but that's one thing I'm not allowed to do myself. Stupid inexperienced professionals need to go back to school and relearn this stuff.

The past few days on Day Planner, I've been noticing that they've been showing live shots of Rockefeller Center in New York City, focusing on outside of the Today Show's studio area.

They're doing that because of the NBC thing. 

But they've been a part of NBC for quite sometime now. 

Hey... better late than never, heh... Things happen in a transition, just watch, sometime next year you'll see a peacock on the walls of the TWC studio... I kid, I kid, lol

Though it was great that they gave us the free upgraded box, it took over a week (and 5 different cable guys to come out) to get the damn thing to work.

Keep in mind that almost all Comcast techs do not know what they're doing or they just don't care. I, almost 100%, just bypass the tech, use my knowledge, and go down to my local payment center and pick up replacement boxes on my own. I know that everyone here has to have moderate technology knowledge, so what we all should do is bypass the techs who don't know and hook up these things ourselves and shove it in their faces, lol... Hell, if I lived near by, I'd hook everyone's systems up for them. I like doing that kind of thing

What I'm trying to do, as I'm bored almost 5-6 hours a day since I'm unemployed currently, I'm trying to throw my own spin on the IntelliStar, and I have all the pieces to do so currently, so I started to do some work.

Here is a work in progress, It's not going to look 100% like the IntelliStar, that is really not my intentions at all.

Let me know what you think
