We all knew this was probably going to happen once NBC bought the station.... I have a feeling that if Landmark still owned the station, there wouldn't be this major of a hit on the staff...
Also, as far as I know, I'm pretty sure Jeff Meilcarz [sic?] still has his job atleast until after the Atlanta half-marathon on Thanksgiving... That's been in the plans for months and I don't think they'd just trash it like *snaps fingers* that...

It looks like the temperature bars have been switched over to the winter ones (as in it now has -30s -20s -10s -0s instead of 100s 110s 120s).... Not sure if this happened today or not but I just noticed.

« on: November 20, 2008, 05:58:10 PM »Well, I guess all we can hope for is that these layoffs are just temporary, and things turn around soon so everyone effected can get their jobs back.That's not usually how layoffs work... usually, once you're laid off, you don't get rehired afterwards, and if you do, it's for lower pay.

Billy, is it possible that the layoffs haven't taken effect yet? Maybe their last day is tomorrow?

I am actively working on the new design, however I have to take a break for a few days, mainly for the rest of the week... Kind of have personal obligations I need to take care of and I also have to ensure that I actually will have Internet access for the next month too. weee fun, lol... But I promise to get back on this as soon as I possible can next week!

The others I can't stand. However, related to MADtv, I do watch Saturday Night Live on a regular basis. Criticize me if you want, I don't care. I like those shows and I'm proud of it, and I don't care if you hate me for it.
