also, if you want, as a last resort, send the old site to me via email and I can put it together for you, but as you know, it's best to learn on your own first. I'm more than willing to help :)

Jesse, I'm having a little difficulty with one thing. Maybe you can help. I'm trying to figure out how to integrate my current music clips page into your design. The clips page, if you didn't know, is a php file. I'm guessing there must be a command that tells the page to display in your design, but as I said before, my experience with PHP is quite limited.
I would just copy the content of that page and throw it into the template. I'm not entirely sure as I don't have the original file in front of me to play around.

One other thing, Jesse. Is there a way to add links to the dropdown menus? I ask because I see none for the classic audio or video pages, so at some point I need to add them.
to add things to the menus, just modify the nav-nonie.txt file. Follow that format and you should be good. However, if you add to the nav-nonie.txt, you'll have to edit the sitemap.php file too for the link list for non-ie users.

To bring everyone up to date, it looks like I may have to wait for Jesse's documentation before the site goes up. The new site was done entirely in PHP, which is a language I'm not very familiar with. Its really not the language itself I'm not familiar with as much as how to implement it. Right now I'm looking at a file folder full of components wondering "Where the hell am I supposed to put all this!?".   :D
The pages folder ;) I'll have the documentation by Sunday...

Hmmm...well that sheds a little light on the situation.  :D
if you have pages/misc/blahbaybee.php, you can load it with /index.php?page=misc/blahbaybee

Take a gander at the template file I have in there for help. That'a actually pretty much the documentation you need but I can try to whip something more up by Sunday.

you really don't have to hide what's in the systray.... 95% of what's there can't be used to determine anything really
Hey, I have private stuff in that tray. :hammer:
I'm talking about the systray, the icons next to the clock... not the taskbar.

A&B just mentioned a possible upgrade to the Saffir-Simpson scale or a new alternative all together all thanks to Hurricane Ike being a deadly category 2 hurricane....

this message board is about 1 year and have only 300 members?, wow tahts low.
You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. 300 members is quite an accomplishment for nearly a year and a half. It's hard work to create and maintain a successful forum. Why don't you try to create a forum and get 300 legitimate members in a year's time?

i have one with OVER 9000 users.
Link please?
I don't think you get that..... "OVER 9000" is another inernet meme... I don't know where it originated but it's a meme.

i dnt think if correct some data, make ppl feel sad. are you?
does that even make any sense?
As I try to decode that, no correcting people doesn't make them sad, however, the manner you approached (using kthxbye at the end) is a put down which is rude.

It's not cool to put others down. You can politely correct, but not in that matter.
