Alrighty... I've gotten the menu system expanded per Gary's wishes, and I increased the font... It's a start and I would like to know what everyone thinks so far.... I'm not done with the rest of the design yet, keep this in mind...

Should I made the menu hover a little darker also?

1) expanding the table atleast 300 pixels... expanded approx 227 pixels for a total of a 702 pixel width
2) possibly enlarging the font 1-2pt... font enlarged from 11px to 13px
3) add the 3d text effects for "twc" and "today" that are present in the forum logo to the site logo
4) curve the fade in the site logo a bit...
5) center the table to see how it works centering the table seems to have worked well... we shall see when I finalize the logo

going good so far... will continue tomorrow

That's odd. Sucks that he has it though. Kinda like Gary Papa from WPVI, he has prostate cancer and it came back 3 times for him. He was actually bald on air, never saw him bald before. O_o

I've seen him bald for years now.... I've gotten used to it.

Also, cancer is basically abnormal growth of cells in which their key function is compromised because of this... at least that's what my bio teacher told me years ago...

Is it possible to have the table centered on the page like I stated in my earlier post?

I'm going to try and see how it looks... if the fade doesn't work with it centered, then no it most likely won't... I can't promise anything, but of course, I will try it.

He's definitely not "pumpin'" along. He had pancreatic cancer before, and had an operation - this was several years ago. I think it's back, though.

Here's my list of things I'll be tweaking on the site, correct me if I'm wrong on any of these or if I'm missing any...

1) expanding the table atleast 300 pixels...

Alright guys, this is my project for tomorrow, major work done tomorrow, final touchups done Sunday, I email the changes to Gary Monday or Tuesday when I can. A bit busy for the next few days but I'm determined! You won't be disappointed!

hmmm, you mean something like keep emptiness next to the menubar for the 300 or so pixels I will add?

No, I mean like expand the current menu bar to fit in the extra space.

hmmmmm.... that's definitely a possibility... I'll think about the possibilities... poll is closed. I'll work on finding myself a test php server so I can work on the CSS a bit, what I need from you, Gary, is to get me the hex values of your A links CSS variable so you won't have to modify that again.

Well the background could be an image, instead of white. Or, you could change the top default image to a picture of clouds or something. There's lots of possibilities...

I'll think about it, but no guarantees seeing as how I like it as it is.
