Right now I'm trying to talk with people I know that can lend me some hosting that has php so I can show my progress off to you guys.... So far no luck, so I'll try again in the morning... I still plan to get started on the overhaul today so wish me luck! Again, no set time period on when it'll be done since I'm a bit busy these days but I still intend to get what I promised done one way or another as soon as possible! I have one idea in my head and I think it may work, hehe :)

Is it just me, or is this website not utilizing its cookies correctly?  I keep having to log in every time all of a sudden....
Just you

It doesn't remember the front page, but then when I click a link, it remembers me.  WTF
make sure you use twctodayforums.com/forums and not www.twctodayforums.com/forums... the one lacking the www. remembers your cookies properly. I also recommend clearing your cache and cookies for the site and reloading your browser and try again... things can get flaky sometimes and it's usually the fault of the browser.

I think that this weekend I am going to begin adding some flare to the menu system, no not a literal flare like you see in the LDL effect, maybe pizazz is the right word for it... I will also be working mostly non stop on trying to GET THE MENU TO WORK IN INTERNET EXPLORER... This is my hope and my main focus... This will involve the following process on my part of coding to start to work on this....

1) remove all menu CSS in the style sheet
2) rewrite the bare standalone first glance stuff first with just "main" "music" "videos" etc....
3) start to work on the hovering effects
4) write the code for the popup styling
5) pray real hard that it works in Internet Explorer
6) tweak what needs to be tweaked
7) take screenshots of the design in progress (I lost my hosting so I have to work on it locally and can't upload it for users to test)
8) if all is good, and approval from the community is positive, I ship the files off to Gary and he gets them up as soon as he can.

I cannot give a time frame, because that would be too much pressure on my part, and that tends to lead me to rush, and rushing leads to catastrophes so... Yeah. The earliest I can get started on working on this is Sunday. I am 100% unavailable Saturday due to pre-existing plans (haven't hung out with my best friend in over 2 weeks, and we wanna catch up and stuff) and Friday is my family day so Sunday I'll get started since I'm most likely going to stay in (it's too darn cold out to do anything! :brr: :brr: :brr:)... So I ask for all of your support when I'm working, and heck! I may upload "work in progress" shots (this will include double/triple/quadtruple/*uple posts sometimes but meh) and stuff so... yeah! Let's get this party goin'!

It's now 6:04am, I'm tired, unable to sleep, and I think my post is becoming a ramble above so I'm gonna try to go to sleep now! I wanted to let you all know what was up... :)

Wow, I love when mouths run. Let me clarify some things. I think Justin was 15 or 16 when we originally started TWCT. I myself was 19 or 20. Jesse, what exactly did you base your guess on? The site Justin and I started no longer even exists.
It was just a guess  :dunno:

I would say why are we arguing about a site run by 15 year olds anyways, but would anyone like to guess how old I was when me and Gary started this site?
It's not that they're arguing about it being ran by 15 year olds, it's about the fact they're using falsified titles for themselves and they're stealing the information and not creating it themselves.

I've been web designing and I had my site up since I was like 12. I would say you two did it in your mid to late teens (15+)

Gotta love Monica Malpass and Rick Williams, but I don't like Action News anymore :/ I prefer CBS 3 Eyewitness News with Chris May and Susan Barnett
CBS 3 lost me as a viewer back in early 2003 when they rebranded themselves and a lot of the hosts left (Larry Kane, Tom Negavan, Amy Caples, etc). WPVI is okay, but lately I've been watching WTXF more. I like the fact they have their own Philadelphia morning show instead of airing a national morning show from New York.
Well I like NBC10 news a bit since they brought in the new HD studio... Fox29 news I've been staying away from because of my bias with Fox News a bit, which sucks but meh

I have Installed Windows 7 in a virtual Machine and I can't get Aero to work, I'm looking for a way to increase V-RAM in VPC 07.
RAM and high quality graphics are pretty much needed for Aero, and most of thet time, VMware and Virtual PC can't really provide that unfortunately...
