I do have to admit, I'm not 100% sure it works in versions of Internet Explorer lower than 7 (meaning IE5 and IE6) but it's working on my machine for IE7 so.... YAY!

Sorry I have been a bit busy these past few days to give you a full update on what I've been working on for this so far. I will say -- I have kept my main goal! NO JAVASCRIPT! 
It has been a bit tedious but it's coming along nicely. And!!!! This is the biggest news.... Ready?
IT WORKS IN INTERNET EXPLORER!!!
It's coming along very well and I'm continuing with it every night until the job is done and I'm 100% satisfied.... I have to continue the color tweaking (as it's not on par yet) and then I have the most difficult task... incorporating it into the design, which is gonna need more major tweaking. Once this is all done, I'll upload it to my hosting for beta testing and will get opinions on what should be fixed and suggestions. So, wish me luck and keep checking back!

For some reason, when I installed the wintv-950 tuner on my vista laptop, I got the BSOD.Sir Derek, the quality is excellent enough for local forecasts and the such!So I'm forced to use my pinnacle tuner. :/

Last I checked, you kind of need a POST, as it's a power on self test, meaning it tests to see that everything's there and if something's wrong, depending on what you set in the BIOS, it'll either halt or continue on. Last I checked, all computers, even today's most advanced ones, have some sort of test when you press the power button, one way or another.

I was supposed to join the TechPro technical services team at my CompUSA store in Mount Laurel after my 3 month probation period, but alas, a press release came out that they were going out of business
