Regarding TWC lHDl i asked comcast

Alex: So I would still have to wait until June 12th to get TWC HD?

Brian (Comcast Rep) For the complete Digital change over you would. But at the moment there is no word on a date for the Weather Channel in HD

Alex: are there still negotiations for TWC HD because I was told in December it would be in Fall River by January?

I apologize, there is no mention of negotiations yet. But seeing as how it is only available in the Boston/Brookline are, due to being all Digital, then in June that may be when it opens up in HD.

Looks like I got to wait until the 2 year anniversary of TWC lHDl until I get it 

1-year, TWC went |HD| last June

Well, it actually depends... the HD simulcast was launched October 2007, but the newscasts went HD on June 2, 2008... so it could very well be October 2009 when he sees it... Not to sound cocky or anything, but wanted to mention this, lol

I'm noticing also, that the HOME link is italicized (dunno if that was intentional) and I'm noticing there's no end round curvy thingy at the end of the top nav bar next to LOGOUT. You may also have to re-implement the youtube link conversion embed feature too. Join dates are missing too under the usernames on the left of posts.

Man, that was a really really really bad hour, in terms of Master Control controlling everything... Between camera feeds not swapping for 15-20 seconds leaving Alex standing there awkwardly, to mic feeds not swapping when they should, thus not understanding what they were trying to say... It was just terrible. Not Alex's or Paul's fault at all

Okay, this is officially weird. We're having a master-controlled EEWC with Paul and Alex. Paul said "Thanks for joining us for ANOTHER hour of Evening Edition."

 

I bet that since Sharon isn't there, if they kept Rich Johnson, they would have Rich do EEWC... but since they let more of their staff go, I guess they're short handed. Adam worked earlier in the day, and Carl's still off, so I guess they had no choice. It's too weird. Seriously. 

They really need to do a better job with swapping the mic feeds when they switch cameras.

you could do some funky cropping and put your picture into the Lower Third graphic like they do for when they're talking to someone on the phone on TWC and such... I think it could come out very well... Just a suggestion

It appears to be from TWC's press site's image gallery. They have HD logos, just not 3-D.

What I would recommend is doing a bit of the blur tool around the edges of yourself a little bit, NOT TOO MUCH, but a smidge, before putting it into the graphic. It would help get rid of a bit of the jaggedness that you sort of see... Otherwise, great job, heh.  

Also, is that a specific font you're using for the EE logo or is that premade?

EDIT: From past experiences with Photoshop, it is extremely easier to do some cutting and cropping yourself out when you're in front of a solid colored wall, which it seems like what you're doing.
