Victor, I think something happened in the studio that got her upset.  It certainly wasn't the cruise ship itself.  At least she took the initiative to sincerely apologize.

And I think you misinterpreted his post. His post was only directed at the first sentence from your above post.

No, I didn't. Nobody knows why she yelled the expletive; she never disclosed the reason. I hope you realized I was joking about the cruise ship part because she dropped the f-word when they showed a clip of the cruise ship and it seemed like an awkward moment to be doing something like that

They moved to a new video/camera control software that day and things were not cooperating and she got frustrated.

Hey, does anyone know of a good, online Youtube downloader I could use? Mediaconverter and a few other sites no longer work with YT. I'm trying to save a few clips on my account that I no longer have on my computer so any help would be appreciated.

I prefer youtube-dl.

DVDVideoSoft makes some excellent free tools. I utilize this on a regular basis, and the videos come out in superb quality and you can download just the mp3 of the video too for some song tracks...

TWC issues a statement:

The Weather Channel is committed to creating a work atmosphere free of discrimination and in compliance with The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 ("USERRA"), and its owners support that commitment. This is a commitment that we have always taken very seriously. We cannot comment on pending litigation, but as with many situations, there is more than one version of what occurred. We disagree with many of the assertions in the plaintiff's press statements and intend to vigorously defend the matter in the arbitration process.

Sounds like what just about any other defendant would say.

They cannot say anything more than that as it could hurt their case when it goes to court.

He was great guy with an explosion of friendly and humorous charisma. He'll surely be missed. 

I had seen that video about the lady giving the answer September to that pregnancy question before, but it was even more funnier seeing it again this time around. I wonder if GSN is gonna honor Richard Dawson in the same way they did for Dick Clark?

They usually do. Nothing has been announced as of yet, as it would be last minute changes to the schedule.

I miss "Action News" on channel 6.  The theme song alone was enough to make me want to tune in!

Me too. I love the anchors on channel 6 a lot better than on the other stations, especially Rob Jennings, Chris Sowers,  Jim Gardner, and Dann Cuellar.

Did they trash the Action News and theme? Last I checked both still existed... Am I missing something?

I wasn't even aware John Bolaris wasn't with WTXF anymore, shows how much I watch Fox29 News.... At any rate, I look forward to seeing Scott.

TWC has no issues with it because he's going to Philly and not staying in Atlanta, where a non-compete clause may kick in.

Explain what you mean by "non-compete clause," as that is quite an ambiguous term, since TWC has never had any problems with their meteorologists going to other stations for chief meteorology positions....

Linkin Park to Employ Weather Forecasters on Tour

Maybe we now know why their music was used on TWC? 

Also Xfinity in Boston (Suburbs) and Fall River will go All Digital June 19th

After June 19th 2012, equipment may be required to receive ALL channels including Limited Basic channels most of which are located between 2-22, 58 and 95.

Shortly there after (a few months or so) you will see a slew of new High Definition channels.
