What would the logo look like with the 'TWC Today' font as the Weather Center font instead of Bank Gothic?  Would that look pretty sweet?  Oh- what is that font they use for WC?

The exact same font except eye candified... I don't have the expertise or the patience to actually go through and do what they do to the Weather Center text.

The width of the design depends on the width of the menu system. Right now, Gary had asked that I make it as interoperable with as many users and clients as possible, I chose 708px. It uses fixed widths, not based on percentages. Using percentages would break many of the key parts that make the site run the way it does. I honestly have no plans to change the width any time soon as I am happy with the design the way it is

ok... Some people prefer the two lined version of the logo I made, and some prefer TWC Today be on one line... I am going to leave it up on a poll for the community to vote on the style they like. Whichever style gets the most votes by the end of the weekend (or earlier, depending on the amount of votes versus active users), will be the style I will go with and I'll begin the development of new logos with the style picked! I look forward to comments and suggestions.

I went ahead and made a primitive holiday logo...it's attached.

Not bad!! include this one in the package

Any rate, I made another modification, I fixed the spacing issue... The glow on the slogan is not visible upon a darker background. It's there so that when you put it towards a light background, the slogan's visible.

If everyone likes the logo, I'll begin the work on transitioning the forum logos over to this style after April I'll work with Jonathan to get a red version of the circle logo for Storm Alert times... I believe this is my start on getting the logos transitioned into 2009  I am extremely happy with this logo
