Yeah, some of them got TWC last year I believe, either right before or right after they switched to HD.
And like another example...

sunrise weather starts at 430 ET but west coast time starts at 1:30...

by then the sun isn't rising for another 3 1/2 hours.  :bleh:

Well, First Outlook starts at 1am on the West Coast.
Thats ridiculously early. Think about Hawaii, they're 5 hours behind!
Your Weather Today starts at 2am there. lol, and First Outlook starts around 11pm the previous night.

And to answer anybodies question, Yes Hawaii does have the weather channel among some customers.

there is no possible time to support show names with the times they play without everyone being affected in some sort of way, yah know?

They should at least call the 10pm-12a show "weather center tonight"

cuz i think of weather center being an afternoon show.

Yeah pretty much.
Out of all the shows they should axe, it should be day planner, and pm edition.

keep Abrams and Bettes, and Evening Edition.

so yeah basically 2003 again, except with Abrams and Bettes.

Well, if anything they should split the 2 shows and cancel day planner
go straight from ywt to weather center, then evening edition.

Jeff replied saying that he can't release info until it becomes known to the public....I figured that would be the case. :pinch:

He said however that we'd know soon.

The only reason to why I think the weather channel may relaunch is because they haven't shown their "weather never looked so good" slogan since August....

Thats what happened whenever the "bringing weather to life" slogan switched over, they took the whole slogan itself off air for months prior to the HD relaunch.

Oh, well hopefully he'll give a response to this.

wikipedia says this:

February 2009 started with layoffs of four OCMs at the channel; midway through the month, it was discovered by members to a TWC fan forum and a leak on the TWC media kit that The Weather Channel was shaking up the schedule radically, including canceling Evening Edition, Abrams & Bettes: Beyond the Forecast, Forecast Earth, and Sunrise Weather, dramatically changing Weather Center and turning sections of it over to Abrams & Bettes, and replacing the overnight hour on weekends with one branded as PM Edition between February 21 and March 1. It had already been announced that Storm Stories was to return as part of a Tornado Week. The program changes are some of the most far-reaching since 2003, which saw the creation of programs such as Day Planner and Weekend Outlook.
