« on: January 21, 2011, 02:49:16 PM »My thoughts exactly when I first started seeing that ad last year. I just mute the TV and dismiss the ad. As soon as I can afford technology that does not involve oil/gas (or as much of it as conventional cars do), it will not be a concern to me.
Well, I heard solar is currently affordable. It will pay off by plugging into your house, and then the power use meter goes back on amount used, then goes forward at night. It will definitely save money on your electric bill, and you can get a tax return for purchasing them!

Looks like the gas industry is taking a big hit so they need to make themselves look good so they spend lots of money to make a 30 second commercial on ABC World News. Perhaps they can't afford that ferrari they wanted? Dunno.

Maybe this summer will be a happy medium for you all.But yeah, I've seen where Orlando has been in the 50s a LOT this winter...Miami in the lower 60s.
That's crazy; I think we've been warmer a few times. And hopefully spring break in Florida for me this year won't be like last year when it was 60 degrees and rainy in the middle of March.
However, last winter it got down to a chilling 14 degrees here and snowed twice!
This winter, nothing big yet... But in the California desert, it flooded. Talk about climate change!

Ever since SL bought out our cox headend, Suddenlink changed the channels sometime in 2005-06. Since then my star ID has been incorrect. Channel 12 is a public educational channel. If possible, can you change it to show the correct ID?

After a couple hours... The UWN-PC is now automated, thanks to some macro making!
It now runs launch, the .exe macro, showing a screen that says that it will launch in 45 seconds, then launch the nf app, go to second monitor (RCA Out, right screen), and input my ID, and launch the program...
It also restarts (restart.bat) every day at midnight!
