Hello There!

I have been programming for a little over a year now, and am currently in the process of making an XL v.1 emulator (not a powerpoint, but a real program). I am now in the process of making all the graphics (all in 1440 x 900, to fit my monitor).

The current task is to get the top bar as correct as possible. Not finished with it yet, but I would like some constructive criticism.

The font is Coolvetica converted to a raster layer (using GIMP) and then playing around with it till I get the right look.

Does anybody know if WeatherSTARs and IS/IS2 uses raw radar data or if it is images off of the NOAA server with a really good image processing algorithm. Thanks!

General Discussion / WeatherStar XL Icons and Background

Hello All,

I'm pretty new here so I decided to post this in the gen. disc. forum. I'm 14 years old and have faint memories of the WeatherStar XL. I took interest in programming a few years ago and have now seriously gotten back into it, this time working with C#/C++.

But now to my point,

I was wondering if anybody has the BG to the XL with this first set of graphics. Also, I have some of the XL icons on my computer, but not the entire set.

Can anybody help me locate these resources, I hope to be able to create an emulator for XL v.1, I know it will take a long time but I'm sure it is worth the effort.
