Eboni has now joined Cheryl for Weekend Outlook. I'm guessing the layoffs won't go into effect until Monday at the earliest.
Kind of like how I saw Dave and Eboni on DP on Thursday

I would like to share my story of the 6/5/07 Tornado

It all started at about 2PM in my 4th grade classroom, one day until the last day of school, and me and a friend were cleaning and dusting the room, it was pouring, then after we were finished we sat back down to finish the video the rest of the class was watching. A little later, at around 2:45 I was walking to my bus and the sun was shining, I got on the bus, went to my grandma's house and started to relax and watch a "Full House" Rerun. At around 4 I started to flip through the channels when I saw Ken Shultz and the "First Alert Doppler Radar" and saw there was a severe thunderstorm in Northwestern Shelby County (the county to the west of Franklin County, where Frankfort is). As it got towards 4:30 the thunderstorm became tornadic and then moved ESE into Franklin County, at that point the NWS issued a Tornado warning for Southeastern Shelby and Franklin Counties (at this point I was freaking out, and I was screaming like crazy) then my uncle (who lives a stone's throw away from my Grandma) called and was coming to take me and my Grandma to his house. When we arrived at his house I was climbing the stairs and the wind was blowing, and the Tornado Siren behind the old Bridgeport School was blaring. We started watching WHAS 11. As we were it was pouring and we had hail the size of peas or small marbles. After that we went back to my grandma's house, then about 15 mintues later my mom came to take me home.

That day there were no spotter reports of tornadoes, but for me a tornado warning is enough to scare the shit outta me!

Weatherscan Discussion / Re: Weatherscan Topic
« on: November 20, 2008, 05:06:14 PM »
Not to be pushy, but can we move this topic to the new "WeatherScan Discussion" topic?

868
I never heard of headends having two Weatherscans from different locations. For a few months though in 2004 and again in 2007, Weatherscan here was on two channels (119, 120), but they were both from the same location.
Same here, I have Weatherscan on 19 and 116, though 116 has no audio.

I've hidden the Jr. Emulator boards for the time being, as they are not being used at this time and don't appear as though they will be in the near future. I've also ADDED a new board, WeatherScan discussion.
Interesting
