that happened to me tooOkay, my IS is back, but it is also not showing the tab bar, and the ad crawl appears twice in a row here too. I just got home 30 minutes ago and I noticed that Weatherscan is completely down, it's like it was during the Jan. 2008 Outage where it showed the IS logo, but mines is frozen and there is no music playing.
maybeCould I do a system restore?Lamarr is absolutely correct. Your computer is virus infested. I would recommend backing up the important data, and reinstalling windows. I would go with Ad block for Firefox in the future. Sorry, VictorCould someone help me out...Your computer is about to conk out. That "AntiSpyware 2009" if it was installed, try at all costs to delete it. If it doesn't delete, back up all your data and reinstall Windows. That has happened to me as well, so I knew exactly what to do. I hate viruses.
I have pops up coming up every 2-3 minutes ,even when I turned on the "Disable PopUps" setting in Trend Micro and IE. It's still coming up. And when I started my computer, I got a warning message saying "Your computer has various signs of viruses and malware!!! Your system needs to scan for virusses immediately!!"
Then a program called AntiSpyware 2009 came up.
I just closed out of the program since I know based on the spelling and grammar that it's malware itself. Has anyone ever gotten this before? I'm doing a Trend Micro scan right now and it found no threats on my system but the popups still appear. AntiSpyware and Trend Micro are not related with each other AFAIk.
