Just something I threw together really fast, it's not all that good.

Weatherscan HD concept - I loosely based the design off of the IS2.

That looks pretty good! I would love to see Weatherscan look like that.

Polk County, FL is under a severe thunderstorm warning now and no one chose to break in.. no crawls are scrolling either.. how lovely 

EDIT: 6:56.. took WTVT 7 minutes to get to it.. wtf

That always happens around here. I actually get the Warning about a minute after it's issued through IEMbot. The stations take about 4-5 minutes after the warning goes out on IEMbot.

Hello, STAR team, I was just wondering what happened to FPB's IS2. ID: 31471

We had some thunderstorms overnight and it was not producing a local forecast or LDL this morning, and I've been check since tonight's round of storms and it's still out. Do you know what may have happened? Thanks in advance.

Looks like earlier reporting was incorrect on the Paul Emmick/WDRB situation. It was originally reported that he was going to WBND in South Bend, I have learned that is FALSE, we don't exactly know where he'll end up...

Hey, I found out today that Paul Emmick is going to leave my local Fox station soon. Apparently the chief Marc Weinberg is going to take over his slot (evenings at 4, 6:30, and 10) while some guy named Jude Redfield from WTHR in Indy takes over Weinberg's spots (Mornings 5-9, and 11:30). According to louisvilleky.com, he is going to WBND in South Bend, IN. Kinda makes me sad not seeing Paul anymore... He'll be missed in this market...

This morning on WUWA and earlier on Day planner i noticed the show names being shown such as they would be during Primed for excitement on the LDL ad system.. seems thats now been implemented into all shows

that sorta reminds me of MSNBC...

Despite the widescreen look, This is an SD Satellite Forecast Concept. Kinda like Fox News and CNN letterbox SD programming, TWC in this case would letterbox the SD forecast but not regular programming.
