The problem was resolved. Windows XP came without the drivers needed (no WLAN or LAN, Video, Trackpad ,etc.) so it was a pain. I thought about getting the drivers from emachines website. I am so stupid  But yeah, I got it all working. Thanks for your help everyone.

Still have problems after trying all of those suggestions. The internet was working before I reinstalled XP. It is running Wireless AND Wierd PCI. If this wont get fixed in one day, I will be bringing it to best buy.

I wonder why the government wont do anything about this "baby" problem. They cann't just expect kids to take care of a baby. It just wont work. Its like making a cat bark. Wont work. Same with those kids.

General Discussion / Computer Help - No Internet?
« on: February 13, 2009, 11:53:15 PM »
Hey everyone...

My moms computer got all screwed up. I reinstalled Windows XP Home Edition over the bad copy. Now that XP is reinstalled, I got an issue with the internet. The internet wont connect what so ever. I tried reinstalling the drivers, with no luck. I also tried repairing the connection, with no luck one again. On the connection repairing console, it gives me an error that says "Cann't renew IP". I also found out that there is no Residential Gateway IP. Should I reinstall Windows XP all together?

Can anyone try to help?

P.S. Windows XP came on the machine when it was bought.

Hi, I've requested a key back about 2 months ago. I was wondering if I can get a key to get into CINE and an Affiliate ID? Thanks...

General Discussion / Re: The Flu
« on: February 01, 2009, 08:32:52 PM »
The flu vaccine is the biggest medical load of crap of the decade.

Why? Influenza has billions of variations, and it's impossible to protect yourself from all of them. Besides, its natural. Need I say more? My aunt got one of those shots a few years ago, and she was sick for months. Vaccinating against the flu is like vaccinating for the common cold - it's pointless, doesn't work, and has many negative effects on things.
Just a clever way for the media to get a story and for drug manufacturers to make a nice profit.

I tend to get sick twice a year big time and off and on with minor things. Most of it (I think) relates to school and the tons of germs going around there.

Ugh, school is a harbor for germs. Looking back, I can't believe I stayed as healthy as I did. There isn't a filthier place on earth.
Well, my old school was a magnet to germs. I got sick alot, but ever since I moved on to Middle School, me nor my friends have gotten sick yet. I think it is due to the fact that the janitors are requiered to sanitize almost everything that peopel come into contact with everyday. There isn't much to be exposed to at my school. The janitors need to make sure that they are being very careful, especialy to the building its self (Like buffing the floors). If the floor cracks, that is a big uhh-ohh. But generaly, if people feel sick, they wont come to school...

That's something else I haven't had in ages. But the last time I had it, I too thought I had the flu. Strep can make you feel just about as bad. The good thing though (at least for me) is that antibiotics instantly make you feel brand new.

I think I heard that Strep is running pretty rampant where I live (Monroe County    SE Michigan)
Mainly schools.
I know nothing about strep in my area (Okemos, Ingham County, MI). I'd much rather have strep then go to school, but people would beg to differ (Gary  :bleh:). I just need a break from school. I hate it on how I an in one of the hardest school districts in the state (And it is one of the best ) I hate school. It is borring and the teachers are so on you...

After installing about 30 weather stations in the area, I decided to create a map to show the conditions and the temperatures observed...

Here's one of my local neighbour hood, built about an hour ago. :)

Well I am going to Ottawa then come back with 2 PMX units

:rofl2: Yeah, and I am going to go to Atlanta and purchase a WeatherStar XL

It will never happen. PMX systems dont grow on trees, and I wouyld highly doubt that they would give a PMX system to a 7 year old. It costs TWN money, you know :whistling:

Wow... I love it on how this topic still goes on and on. I know tha some people didn't like the beta, but I will say this. My mouth did drop when I saw the finnished part of SilverConnect. Devon did an excelent job on the graphics, and the programming. I also like it on how it isn't Visual Basic. When I saw it my mouth dropped. It was an amazing program... or OS. Behind the scenes, I thought that the way it was built was excelent, and clever.

Devon, I really hope that you succed in you work
Go on youtube and look at his profile (Number1twcfan) and see the SilverConnect program. It still needs work, but the graphics is outstanding, and how it retrieves the data :)
