Lansing is divided when it comes to tornado sirens. Most sirens that are in the downtown area or in the relatively close vicinity are Thunderbolts. Most of the suburbs <coughs> escaes from Lansing <coughs> are getting newer sirens, however. My guess is that these sirens are Federal Signal 2001s. Nevertheless, there is a different siren in Haslett, right behind the firehouse at the intersection of Haslett Rd and Okemos Roads. I think this one is the same siren Henry (Hen7713) has videos of on his channel. I will try to get videos soon.

I don't think that we have penetrators here in Okemos, we have a model 5 and 2001's. I'll look around for that siren next time I gocto quality dairy, socool.

It is amazing that he lived. I know a story similar to this, and the same things happened to Jeanetta as this girl in a true story. She had all of these things happen, she was in the hospital, they were removing glass from her face, and all of that stuff. Three years later, she began getting severe seizures. Lets hope that wont happen to Jeanetta...

Bingo.

Comcast makes me so ticked. I am thinking about switching to AT&T U-Verse. They may have a rare star, since they are relatively small in the TV world.

OT: i just noticed, I fixed my broken CRT TV that was manufactured in 1992 today... It was weird looking in the unit its self. They Radioactive gun thing in there seemed ok, the X-Radioactivity shield was covered in lead (Hmm... wonder why?), butthen the main board was a mess I needed to solder a wire back on...

I find this rather funny... Comcast will advertise that they have more HD channels then DirectTV, but not what I see When I looked to my cable lineup [HD], we only had 4 channels. Comcast, Comcast

It's not bad so far... the background color of "HOME" doesn't match the rest though

Thats what I was thinking as well I'm thinking about doing a blue/purplish color for the background (It will probably look kinda bad, as I am bad at picking colors lol)

Ok, So I started working on it tonight, I worked on very little graphics (Buttons and logo). As you can see, really good and nice pictures that someone donates can be put on the home page (With the pictures owners permission). Obviously, they need to be resized, and those pictures were examples. I am also thinking about a new background (Lighter toned, tiled, mosaic looking).

And as well to this picture, there will be way more text when the whole site it finished(I estimate about 1 month till its completed).

Any comments on this picture

Personally, I've always been a PhpBB fanboy...

I will agree with Gary only on the part that you've been asking how to do EVERYTHING so far.

You have to do your own research and learn things on your own.

Not to mention there are lots of weather forums out there...

Therenlies my problem. What should it be about? In my mind, I say weather.

I can say that your point is valid (Gary), and at the same time I'm thinking. Baaicly, I have been asking, but it was lazyness on my part in my opinion. I need to work on a good website layout, graphics, and all of that stuff. This won't even be donemin one month, as far as I know.

Yesterday, I was rushing. I've decided to budget my time, and work on one part at one time.

Ok everyone,

I am making preparations to build the site's draft. This is going to be in a .png format.

And about the name, I haven't completely come up with it yet. You're name suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Remember, this site is all about you guys. You guys can decide on what features it will have included in it. It is supposed meet the users needs, though, for anything to be included in the website, it needs to be verified with me first. Keep comming up with suggestions

EDIT: On the name, I just got an idea. Why not just wall the website Weatherstar
