I wish. I was trying to get a hold of a Scientific Atlanta 8300 cable box... they refused to activate it. That really ticks me off  But hey, i'll replace my DCT2000 with that pretty one any day

Neat update from AVS Forum - Comcast's next step in their video delivery is a massive channel reorganization effort.

Honestly, considering Comcast's lineup (at least where I live) seems so random that it was put together by a drunk monkey, I think this channel reorganization is long overdue.  We'll get used to it soon enough.

Really? Ours is quite organized to me. 20's is generally public /educational/government access, 30's has sports and movie networks, low-40's has news, mid-upper 40s has children networks, 50's has MTV and all of that. But, like they say... it's Crapcast

I love these! Did you use After Effects?

Premiere I hear that After Effects isn't to diffucult when you just get use to the software. I got used to Premiere very quickly.

Also, WeatherStar XL V3 emulator. NOTE... There are problems with the font and font sizes. If anyone can tell me what font to use and font size in a spicific spot, that would be wonderful to help make the emulation look better.

Wow, those people there are rude and helpless. It would be nice to see a LOT8s on U-Verse though. AFAIK, no locations have it.

They don't get that they are important pieces of cable equipment. What is the catch to U-Verse? They brain wash them? They make it to where no one can accept innovation

Some of you know that I am probaly switching over to U-Verse because of money conflicts. But, I know that they do not carry and STARs... Not one. Not a XL, 4000, Jr, or iStar. It's disapointing. I don't want to go long without a local forecast

The folks over at the ATT forums were no help. They just came up with excuses (Well, the majority of them). http://utalk.att.com/t5/TV-Programming/The-Weather-Channel-Local-Conditions/td-p/217415

I really wish that they would carry STARs. Well, does anyone know for a fact if they have some STARs at some locations? Since what I heard was that they don't.
