I have a copy of a STAR agreement, and due to privacy issues, I won't share. But, I can tell you this: The cable operator bought the STAR from TWC according to the agreement, and it was theirs. In fact, the 4000 that I have has an asset tag on it with a number and "Propery of XYZ".

So what you are saying is that the STAR is property of the purchaser, not TWC?

Exactly. TWC can't take the equipment away or any of that.

As for the discussion about that Sage Endec... that unit is broadcasting over the air. The guy who owns it took off the antenna of his broadcaster (Which is a special radio that broadcasts on those frequencies). So in reality, yes, it is broadcasting. Is it illegal? No. It's not interfering with any other signals, or being used to trick the public. Besides, it is legal to broadcast on VHF as long as the transmitted signal does not exceed 500ft in radius. But if people were smart, they wouldn't do it (They can cause panic and get in trouble for that)

Hi STAR team,

I was curious if the almanac could be modified a little bit. I think it would be beneficial if we see the moon phases, as well as the temperature data. STAR ID 27098 could be used as a example.

I bought quite a few things...

• A brand new HP LCD Monitor... 20" (HP S2031)
• A new Seagate Barracuda 500GB SATA (3Gb/s Transfer rate) hard drive
• Logitech Wireless Keyboard (To accompany the wireless mouse I have recieved)

So, I am building a new computer. Thats what I currently have (Using the monitor right now, though) along with the motherboard, and the Intel Core 2 i5-650 processor. I'm so close, just need about $50-$100 more to get the rest of the parts.

Tomorrow's high for Dallas...74 degrees!!! Something to enjoy before the colder air in Colorado on Friday (which actually won't be as bad as I thought).

And BTW, I'm going to run now before some of you shoot me down.

I want the cold air! It still is cold here, but is warming up (Boo).

Other then that, I'm going to go skiing this weekend in Cadillac, MI. Not really where I'd rather go, but it's a okay place
