I too dislike "Flick and a Forecast", but it seems like NBC likes to add this type of programming to the channels that they own. Even CNBC is going to show movies on friday nights, although this just seems for the summer:

Plus there news network (MSNBC) is a joke when it comes to news coverage on weekends or holidays. They'd rather show Lockup or other crime documentaries.

Hopefully it's gone for good, but I'm not too hopeful. Right now my guide is showing "Riding Giants" airing next Friday. Apparently it's some 2004 documentary about the evolution of surfing. Sounds riveting.

I wish TWC would bring back that transparent LDL that they had. I loved that one. Also, why do both WUWA and YWT start a minute early? For example, I'll notice WUWA coming on at 5:59am (If I'm actually up at that time) and it seems to throw off the entire flow by a minute (LOT8'S included). I know it's minor, but I was just curious (like the monkey).

I guess I should've added that truTV isn't all bad. I actually like the courtroom coverage that they have weekdays from 9am-3pm as well as Speeders, Forensic Files and the investigation type shows. That said, I'm not a fan of all the high speed chase shows that they have.
